It's rather like when everyone is sitting round the table on Christmas day, nobody wants to be the one to say it, but here, let me.... WELL THATS IT ALL OVER FOR ANOTHER YEAR!!!

Yesterday saw the U13 competition of the Antrim Hockey Club Sixes Tournament.

Through to the finals we saw Rainey take on Coleraine in a tense nailbiter! Coleraine came out victorious as Kiera scored the only goal of the game and put Coleraine in the lead. And boy did Kiera celebrate her goal!!!

Thankyou so much to all the competitors in yesterdays fantastic competition. Some amazing talent on display across all teams that participated.

There was faaar too many brilliant photos to choose from, so I suggest you clear your evening and perhaps pour a glass and sit down to view the enormous amount of pictures on display 🥂

Friday evening saw our popular Mixed Competition!

Kimber Buenos took home the trophy for this highly coveted title, with runnersup Motherwell Street Pythons. Well Done to both teams!!

I can't believe the Sixes are over for another year, said the collective members of AHC hockey club....

Some of us in Antrim HC are taking a well earned rest this evening, and kicking the feet back after a hugely successful week. And it was all thanks to every participant, every volunteer, every umpire and every coach. Thankyou all so much from the bottom of our hearts 💙

Photos that were taken for the Mixed yesterday evening and today's U13s competition will be uploaded tomorrow late afternoon, that given the fact that this afternoon I was for nearly winging the laptop out the window. 🤣

The rain and wind did not dampen the spirits of the Senior Ladies and U11s, in last nights installment of the Antrim Sixes tournament.

Final qualifiers for U11s and Seniors were both Randalstown and Lurgan.

Lurgan brought home the trophy for U11s, whilst Randalstown won the Senior section, beating Lurgan 2-0.

Some amazing talent on display from the young guns and the more experienced of the sport. (You pick the category applicable).... 😁

Many Thanks to those of you who ventured out and braved the unusual Northern Irish summer weather to watch the competition.
