BuggyBabies has been designed to provide a safe and effective postnatal workout for women who have recently had a baby the workout will incorporate fat burning elements (powerwalking across varied terrain and gradient and resistance elements).The session will cater for a range of fitness levels and alternatives to exercises will be given. anges can make you more susceptible to injury so if you need to miss a session or take a breather, please do so. You can always meet us afterwards. What to bring bring/wear - checklist
• Dress appropriately for outdoor exercise. Layers are good as you will warm up quickly once the session has started. Wear comfortable supportive trainers.
• A supportive bra or two and breast pads if you are breastfeeding
• Hat and sun tan lotion for you and baby in summer
• Waterproof for you and rain cover for buggy
• Water for you and a drink/snack for an older baby/toddler
• Toys/books/drinks/snacks etc to keep baby entertained and ration them out throughout the session
• Blanket/towel for floor exercises in the summer
• It’s a good idea to feed baby before a session and if you are breastfeeding this will lighten your load too! Please read the guidelines below carefully before completing and signing the screening form.
• You must have had your 6-8 week post natal check and clearance from your doctor before taking part. If you had a caesarean delivery, you should wait a further few weeks (8-12 weeks) before joining BuggyBabies.
• All prams/buggys should be suitable for BuggyBabies but you are responsible for maintaining it’s safety and ensuring tires are pumped up (if appropriate).
• Babies/toddlers MUST be securely fastened into the buggy at all times unless the instructor indicates they can come out i.e. during mat work in the summer.
• If you feel any pain during the session or your circumstances change from those given on the screening form, STOP immediately and inform the instructor.

Last week was Maternal Mental Health week🩷 this week is Mental Health Awareness week ❤️

I know the impact buggies babies has had on so so many mums. We are much more than an outdoor exercise class. We are a group that’s been going close to 16 years and that means something.
So many mummies and their beautiful babies have came along week in week out, month in month out and some are year in year out. Mums come for the first time, mums returning with 2nd 3rd 4th babies and have made lifelong friendships.
This class is a great support and everybody knows the struggles being a mummy can bring.
Getting outdoors, having a chat, meeting like minded mums really is one of the best things that this class brings. We are all good at lifting each other up. Being kind and caring.
So if there is any mummy out there needing to hear this… You are doing a great job.. I am always here to support and listen and help anyway I can… get In touch.. join us and let’s look after each other ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Hi Mummies.

I would really love if any of you can support this young man tomorrow at some point. He ran London marathon today with a fridge on his back ❤️💪🏃‍♂️

He will run another 32 marathons in the next 32 days to raise money and awareness for Alzheimer’s / Dementia. This is so close to me and so many others I know .
Check out his socials and let’s cheer him on somewhere along the route. I’ll pop messages tomorrow , Laura and I will join him at some point as I’m
