Don't think we've ever shown you the traditional dovetail joint that we use. From this stage on it all hand fitted using a lovely Japanese dovetail chisel.

Before the lacquer is cut and removed from the top prior to the bridge being glued, the underside of the bridge is prepared to match the curvature of the top precisely. This is done so accurately, the bridge is sucked onto the the top with a little pressure and pops when lifted off the top [Sound On]
