Dearly loved Husband of Dorothy, Loving Dad to Katherine, Jillian and their husbands David and Dave. A sadly missed and much loved Granda, Great Granda, Brother, Brother-in-law, Uncle and a good friend to many. Aged 85 Years. Catherine (Cate). We are heartbroken to announce that Cate passed away at The Cumberland Infirmary, Carlisle on Wednesday 6th August. Aged 64 Years. She will be missed beyond measure by her Husband Peter, Daughters Hannah, Megan and the late Dawn. Much loved Nannie, Mother-in-law, Daughter, Sister, Sister-in-law, Auntie and good friend to many. Funeral service to be held at Eden Valley Crematorium on Friday 22nd August at 12.30pm. Cate would have loved you all to be dressed in checked shirts, best auction/show attire. Liam passed away sadly in Penrith on Friday 27th June. Aged 25 Years. A much loved son to Shirley, sadly missed Grandson to Brenda and the late Jack, Adored Daddy to Elsie and Brother to Sadie, Ben, Rob, Megan and the late Leroy , Uncle, and a great friend to many, especially Squeeks. Also his two doggies Bella and Rosie . Liam's funeral will take place at Eden Valley Crematorium on Monday 21st July at 11am.

Aged 56 Years. Cherished Granda and Great Granda, Father in law, Brother, Brother in law, Uncle, and a good friend to many. Aged 74 Years. A funeral service will be held at St John the Baptist Church, Hilton Cum Murton on Friday 31st January at 12 Noon, followed by interment in Murton Cemetery. John Stanley died peacefully in hospital on Monday 18th November with several of his family members there with him. A funeral service and cremation will take place at Eden Valley Crematorium on Tuesday 3rd December at 11am followed by a funeral tea at Appleby Manor Hotel. IT WAS JOHN'S WISH THAT ANYONE COMING TO THE SERVICE WEARS BRIGHT COLOURS - DEFINITELY NOT BLACK, and instead of flowers, if desired, make a donation to Cancer Research UK.
