Muscle, joint, heart, lung, or pelvic health problems?? 💚💙

Some GP practices may offer First Contact Physiotherapy in-house - you would need to check with your specific surgery.

However, you can also self-refer for MSK Physiotherapy at North Cumbria Integrated Care - no GP needed.

They help with:

- Joint pain, sports injuries, rheumatology conditions
- Stroke, MS, Parkinson’s
- Heart or lung rehab
- Pelvic health issues, including pregnancy and incontinence

Treatment may include advice, exercises, hands-on therapy, and group sessions.

Available in hospital, outpatient, or community settings.

Did you know some NHS services can be accessed without needing a GP appointment first? 💚💙 You can contact these services yourself.

(These services cover NHS North Cumbria — North, West, and East. South Cumbria may have different options.)

💡 Adults (18+) registered with a GP in North Cumbria can self-refer. They’ll listen and help you find the support that works best for you.

Our Chatter Matters sessions regularly welcome guest speakers to share helpful information with our groups! So far this year, we've enjoyed fantastic talks from Healthwatch and Waste into Wellbeing, and next week Kendal Town Council will be joining our Kendal group (20/02). 🙌

• Optional exercise: 1:30pm – 2pm on Fridays

Kendal Leisure Centre
