Halloo you are invited to join Applecross first ever watersports social hub based at The Tick Tack Boatshed on Milton Pier. Many of you already use the facility for social swimming, paddle boarding, fishing and rowing. To maintain the lease from the Applecross estate we need to raise an annual rent of £240 plus ongoing maintenance costs such as shed doors which blew in this winter, changing benches, and even possibly in the future a sauna!
We plan a get together social bbq possibly to coincide with the Applecross Raft Race start…watch this space for more details.
In previous years we have raised the rent through the skiff rowing members and this has worked. Many of you have already pledged to continue to pay either an individual membership or family membership of £24. If we could get another 10 members we could build up our funds or drop the annual fee to £12.
