Emerald Light Therapies with Helen

The therapies I offer are Reiki, Crystal Reiki and Crystal therapy. Also, Angel therapy, Energy EFT and Angel / Oracle card readings.

Please contact me for further information and prices. I have been interested in holistic therapies for many years and completed my Reiki first degree in 2004 followed by the Reiki second degree a year later. Since then I have become a Reiki Master & Teacher. I have qualified in Indian Head Massage, Crystal Therapy and Energy EFT. I have since completed an Angel Therapy course and a certified angel card reading course. I am based in Appledore, North Devon just a few miles from Bideford where I have set aside a tranquil room to work from. Holistic Therapies work alongside conventional medicine and aim to bring balance to the body on all levels, physical, emotional, mental and spiritual. There will be an initial consultation where you will be given the chance to ask any questions and have any issues clarified before proceeding. You have the treatment fully clothed but may be asked to remove glasses and shoes and you can choose to have the session lying down on the therapy couch or to sit in a chair. Confidentiality is respected at all times. Although I do not have set opening hours I can make arrangements to offer appointments most days and times. Wednesday's reading

The first card is Raphael, Earth Force.
Archangel Raphael's message, "You are in need of grounding and connecting to earth energy".
Raphael reminds us of the energy centres that are around us. Glatonbury Tor is the heart chakra of the world.

When we are busy working, looking after others, we can get distracted and disconnected. Then we may feel stressed and tired.
This message reminds us to connect with Mother Earth, Gaia. This will help us to slow down, become calmer and find peace within.
Walks in nature, in parks and gardening can all help us feel grounded. Even 10 minutes can help make a difference.

Stop and notice nature, it's beautiful, the snowdrops, crocus and daffodils are all making an appearance.

Notice how your body responds when you have been outdoors.
And we are getting some dry days and blue skies 😊.

Emerald is a beautiful stone that resonates with the heart chakra.
It is associated with Archangel Raphael.
Other attributes~
Inspiration, peace, success, love

Emerald is thought to calm the emotions, reduce negativity and bring in positivity.
It helps with regeneration and recovery.

Next we have the Octopus animal spirit totem. One of my many favourite animals 💖.

The message is to take care of yourself and indulge in a little luxury.
I do like the sound of that 😀 and advice I will follow this coming week!

Octopus is known as 'Keeper of the Tides'.
Those who have Octopus for their totem are highly intelligent and adaptable.
Octopus is also known for regeneration, transformation and to release what no longer serves.
Octopus shows when we need support to navigate through challenges. It encourages a flexible approach.

Rose quartz resonates with the heart chakra, it helps teach us of unconditional love. Firstly for your self, self love, self care and self forgiveness. Then of others, it may attract love if you are looking for this.
It can bring loving vibes, empathy and acceptance of necessary change.

Positive expectations brings the message, 'Don't Quit'.
The message asks that you continue with positive hopes and dreams. You have planted the seeds and nurtured them, with positive affirmations.
So, do not lose faith now when you are so close to reaching them.
Do not let negative thoughts cloud your vision or others opinions put you off.
Go outside into nature, your garden, a small park anywhere you can spend time alone.
Talk to the angels and fairies, they are experts in manifestation and positivity. Release all negative thoughts and realise your dreams once more.

The crystal is the beautiful spirit quartz also known as cactus quartz.
It is thought to resonate with the fairies and nature.
It helps spiritual growth, meditation and protects the aura. It can bring balance and alignment to the chakra system.

Holiday 🏖 is the next messsage and could hold the answer you are looking for. . .
This can be anywhere, by the sea, overseas, in woodland or your favourite place. The fairies say it will be worth your time and investment.
A place to relax, to unwind and to find clarity.

Out with the old and in with the new.
So, out with negative thinking, self sabotage and self doubt.

Dragonfly spirit brings the messsge to spend time in nature. Mother nature is sunshine to your soul.

The dragonfly is a messenger of hope and is associated with the mind, illusion and change.

Next we have panther spirit, pouncing into the lives that appear stagnant. Panther energy causes havoc with good intention.
The intention is to bring action for transformation and change. All initiated to move us to fulfillment and a brighter place.

I hope you are all well, it's Wednesday and here is the reading 💖.
Azurite is one of the crystals chosen, a beautiful blue stone that resonates with the throat chakra. It is thought to support psychic and intuitive development. May help to clear misunderstandings by releasing 'blocks' in communication. Helps release fears, guilt, stress and sadness, bringing in new understanding.

Squirrel spirit's message is for us to start to think ahead and be honest with any challenging situation.
Squirrel represents resourcefulness and reminds us to balance work, rest and play.
Squirrel is a positive omen and is thought to indicate that a positive outcome is near.
It can also be a message to check your resources. And maybe a caution to see where we spend our time and our money.

Green Quartz, resonates with the heart chakra and supports emotional stability, balance and heart healing. This is a positive stone and a reminder to self - care.

Serenity brings the last
message, with gentle energy. The connection to nature reminds us of the healing benefits spent in nature.
Just wrap up warm for some quiet walks.
The angels reassure us that even if life seems turbulent we always have peace within us. We can feel serene, in quiet times, meditation, nature, mindfulness and all are available to us now.
We do not need to wait until life is calmer or other reasons we may use.
Serenity is our natural state.
Be gentle with yourself, kind to yourself because the angels message is you are loved.

I have some quiet time so I've decided to do a reading for the last day of 2025.

Smoky quartz helps to clear negative energy and reduce stress. Promotes emotional balance.

1. MAGICAL SPIRIT
Your dreams will come true one day.
For some of you 2025 was not an easy year and just getting through it was an accomplishment in itself.
As the year draws to a close look back on the lessons and the challenges. Acknowledge them, learn from them and then let go.
2025 was the year of the snake, a year for shedding of all that is no longer needed. It was a year for healing on all levels and preparation for new beginnings.
2. HEALING DIET
After the Christmas and New Year festivities, it could be the ideal time to reflect on what changes you can make. Do you need to seek expert advice?
It isn't just the food we eat that impacts our health, but what we watch on TV and what we read.
3. TOMAHAWK
Deep healing will bring shifts and changes in 2026. It is the year of the Fire Horse this positive energy will help us move forward, from the lessons of 2025.

It's Wednesday and the last reading for 2025 💖.
I am using the Animal Spirit deck by Kim Krans and Healing with the Angels, Doreen Virtue.

Dragonfly are ancient and ethereal bringing a sense of wonder to all. A symbol of the mind, are you restless or still? Dreamy or crystal clear?
A situation may be different to how it was first perceived.
Dragonfly spirit suggests calm the mind to allow the wisdom and light to show you the way forward.

Balanced - joyful, clarity and magical
Out of balance - unable to focus, busy mind
To balance - breathe

The stone rose quartz resonates with the heart chakra. For self love ❤️ .

A beautiful card to end the year, the angels want us to know we have extra blessings around us right now. These blessings bring love and comfort to all.
For those spending time with loved ones, or have children, who bring a sense of wonder and magic.

And, to those who find this time of year difficult, maybe missing loved ones. Or are alone or who are homeless. The angels bring an added cushion of love and light.

The throat chakra is associated with the colour blue, self - expression, creativity and communication.
When this chakra is open we speak our truth lovingly and honestly. We also listen to others with integrity.
Crystals - aquamarine, lapis lazuli, sodalite

The message ~ speak your truth lovingly, call on the angels to help you.
If you have any important message to express, either verbally or written, you are being encouraged to speak up.
Do you need to journal your thoughts and feelings? Sometimes writing these down can help clarify them.
Or are you a creative writer? Maybe, you are being encouraged to write?

If you are finding it difficult to communicate with others, in a work or relationship situation, ask the angels to help you find the courage to speak lovingly and assertively.

Another thought here, does someone need you to listen?
To listen totally, no interruption, no thinking of what you have to do later or how you are going to reply. Just giving your full attention, is special. The angels say this is a gift.

Someone is celebrating this month, a birthday, anniversary or a completion of a project.
So, I hope you have the best time 🥳.
There is also the cold moon, a Supermoon tomorrow, December 4th.
Full moons are associated with completion, emotional healing and of letting go.
Emotions can be intense and hidden truths revealed.
Also, can mean endings and this one is the last full moon of 2025.
This moon is linked to the astrological sign of Gemini.

Now back to the angels message ~ good news, there is cause for celebrations. Time to enjoy the fruits of your labours. It is a light filled time and positive changes are coming in.
Fill your heart with gratitude.
Keep taking care of your life and see your good work manifesting.

A very fitting card for my husband as his birthday is
this month. And his retirement, after over 50 years of working.
So a well deserved congratulations to him.

Another Wednesday and another reading 🤗 ~
Today I have chosen Messages from your Animal Spirit guides by Steven Farmer. And the Native American deck.

The first card is platypus ~
'Stop complaining & focus on the blessings in your life'
A very direct message for us!

We can get bogged down with every day niggles and we can forget all that is going well in our lives.
And having a good moan, getting things out of our system can be very therapeutic. Up to a point.
When we continue to talk negatively and complain, it will have a negative affect on ourselves and those around us.

So the message comes to remind us to lift ourselves up, no matter what our present situation is and face the day head on.

Notice your thoughts.
Are they self sabotaging?
Or self empowering?

Pay attention to your thoughts and let go of negative thinking.
See your thoughts empowering you, lifting you up.
It will take practice, but the benefits to your well being will be worth it.
When you notice yourself thinking negatively, stop and change to positive thinking.

What makes you happy? Is it time to take action to make positive changes in your life.
Or do you need to change your thoughts?

The word platypus stems from the Greek word platypous, this means flat or broad footed.
A feature that reminds us to be grounded.

The platypus is an animal not easily understood, it is original and unique.
People who have platypus spirit totems are also unique. They are not at ease in main stream society.
They are aware of their own individuality and embrace it. Their personalities are original, distinct and eccentric.

A core message from the platypus for all of us is to be yourself, accept yourself and to love yourself.

The message is for you to take stock, of your intentions and your goals.
Infuse them with love.
See yourself and others being happy, successful and at peace with life.
Replace negative thoughts and habits with loving, empowering ones.

It can take time to make changes and to move forward.
The angels message, "It will be worth it. You are worth it."

Kangaroo Spirit message is to keep moving forward and don't look back.

Kangaroo Spirit totem is a new one for me, here are some of the meanings.
♡ boundless energy
♡ stamina
♡ strength
♡ clear boundaries
♡ protection
♡ grounding

Kangaroo totem shows when a leap of faith is needed. The waiting and watching has led to a major transition in your life. The existing conditions have helped to pave the way.

Another message, use your energy wisely, do not use your energy on people or projects that can drain you.

Staying grounded is important, keep your ties to reality.

Those of you with kangaroo spirit are protective and gentle. Especially with children, animals and those who are vulnerable.
This is a beautiful attribute to have.
You do need to understand when to let go, for them to live their own lives.

You are protective and able to fight for what you believe in.

Lastly, snowflake obsidian, a molten lava that cooled so quickly it has not had time to crystallise.
It is thought to have calming properties and helps one value mistakes as well as successes.
