Improving Convenience for Our Patients

To make communication more convenient and efficient, our GP practice is using text messaging and email service more often.

Messages may include:

Appointment reminders

Test result notifications

Practice updates

Other non-clinical information

This service is designed to improve communication and reduce unnecessary phone calls from our admin team. It is not a replacement for GP consultations.

Keep Your Mobile Number Updated

To ensure you receive messages, please make sure your mobile number is up to date with the practice.

If you were registered as a child, we may still hold a parent or guardian’s number on file. Please contact us after 10am monday to friday to update your details so messages can be sent directly to you.

Thank you for helping us improve our service.

Please note: messages sent from the practice are not a two-way texting service, and incoming text messages are not received.

💙 Mental Health Awareness Week starts today (11–17 May).

This year’s theme is Take Action - focusing on small steps that can make a real difference to our mental health.

That could mean:
✨ One action for yourself – getting some fresh air or trying a calming technique
👥 One action for someone else – checking in or listening without judgement
🛟 One action for all of us – knowing where to get urgent mental health support in Scotland

Most GP surgeries in Tayside will be closed on Monday 4 and Monday 25 May.

Please ensure you have enough of your regular medication before the public holidays and only order what you need. There is no need to order additional medication.
