Good morning everyone,

If you are are a newsletter subscriber, please check your spam or promotional folders, I have just sent out three new event dates.

Our dog loves Christmas and she even gets to meet Santa and Mrs Claus. She loves opening everyone’s presents too!

But then we have Hogmanay …dreaded fireworks and in our area it’s loud and never ending. She really struggles. I know she’s not alone in the animal world.

Here’s what we will be doing in an attempt to settle her …having a really long walk this afternoon, and tiring her out with lots of ball chasing along the way (more than usual!). Then around 9pm a pippet of natural valerian root rubbed on her neck (you’ll get it from pets at home). We will pump up the volume, dance and be silly - to distract her (maybe to have fun too 🤣).

That’s my strategy. What’s yours?

Also - all of the above is a hit or miss …she’s hard to fool and they feel the vibrations not just the sound.

Thankfully, it shouldn’t last too long 🤞

2026 is just a few days away, and I’m loving this mantra:

New Year. SAME AWESOME YOU.

Instead of aiming for big, sweeping changes that can feel overwhelming (and often don’t stick), try adding small, steady habits that fit into your real life. Yoga can be that weekly anchor, a space to support your body, calm your mind, and recharge your energy.

In time, it can also lead to you naturally adopting those other healthy habits you'd like to tackle.

Morning everyone ☀️🥶

My December newsletter went out this week - check your spam or promotional folder if you missed it!

If you don’t subscribe, here’s a snippet of this months content …i thought it could help you (and me!) if you are hitting the shops today …

It’s a funny month, isn’t it? A mix of magic, pressure, joy, and this growing to-do list. In the middle of it all, we’re all just trying to keep our feet on the ground and keep our cool.

There's plenty tools and techniques that can help us stay calm at this time of year. Have you used the vagus nerve breathwork PDF that I sent you? Even a few minutes of breathwork a day can make such a difference.

When you waken in the morning, instead of reaching for your phone, try a short meditation or breathing, and you will see the benefits fairly quickly.

Getting some natural daylight in the first couple of hours after waking helps too.

Planning your day, writing down a few things you’re grateful for, and ending your evening with three things that went well can also help to calm the clutter in the mind.

Here’s to a gentler December, and to finding little pockets of peace amidst the tinsel and the chaos.
