What a summer it’s been ☀️🧖‍♀️
A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for a sauna at Glenfinnan, for the chats, the plunges, the laughs, and the moments of stillness by the loch 💛

We move again…
Next weekend you’ll find us at Scotland’s Wild Medicine Festival in Strontian with the wonderful Heal Scotland community 🌿

After that, we’re heading home to the Croft at Dalnabreck.
Bookings for that will open from mid October, and we can’t wait to welcome you there for the next chapter 🔥

🤠 AUTUMN BRINGS A NEW CHAPTER…. 🍂

The sauna is saddling up and moving again, this time to our family home at Dancing Duck Croft. From the seashore of Arisaig, to the lochside of Glenfinnan, and now into the heart of our croft in the wild west of Scotland. 🌄

🐓 Among the chickens, ducks, and the daily rhythm of croft life, you’ll find the sauna tucked in.
It’s a place where the smoke curls, the fire crackles, and the Highland air hits different… raw, real,and grounding. 🦆

We’ll be taking a week or two after the 6th of October to get set up, then opening one day each weekend as we find our feet. If the demand’s there, we’ll add more days… maybe even golden hour evenings under the stars. 🌅 ✨

This move is about keeping it authentic, rooted in family and place. Sauna, sweat and a view into the grit and beauty of croft life.

🥾 So pull on your boots, bring your towel, and come join us at the croft. The wild west of Scotland awaits…

*We will open the online booking via the website once in situ for Autumn/Winter.
*The booking will remain closed for Spring/Summer 2026 and we will decide on location for then over the Winter season.
*If you have a gift voucher and the new location isn’t suitable, please get in touch.

Why does sauna fit so well on the west coast of Scotland? 🌊🔥🏔️

Because this land was built on contrast: heat and cold, storm and calm, sea and loch, mountain and sky.

For centuries people here gathered around firelight, sharing stories and warmth through the long nights. Sauna carries the same spirit today… a place of heat, of pause, of community.

The west coast gives us the perfect setting… sea air that sharpens your lungs, lochs to plunge into, mountains rising around you.

✨ Sauna sweats deserve the right kind of re-fuel.

We’ve been playing with a little mocktail that might just become your new favourite post-sauna sip:

🍊 Freshly squeezed orange juice
🥥 Coconut water
🧂 A pinch of Celtic sea salt
💧 Topped with cold, clear water

Why it works:
🍊 Orange → Vitamin C + natural sugars to perk up your energy and support your adrenals after the heat.
