It's probably time to reintroduce myself. Not only have I been a little absent on social for a while, but also a lot has changed in that time!
Hopefully you know I'm Caz, even if you've not met me in person yet. For those of you who have known me for a while, but maybe not seen me, yes, I've lost weight (about 100lbs) - something I'll maybe talk about more in another post. That has allowed me to start walking the wainwright's, we're coming up to 80 so far and loving it. My other half does all the planning and prep and I supply the flask of tea and the complaining on the uphill bits. Whilst walking the wainwright's I get a lot of inspiration for writing, which I've been doing more and more of. If you're interested you can find that on my other page ( Caroline Pett Writing ).
I still love being in the therapy room with you guys. My therapy style is really grounded and flexible. The training I've done covers a few different approaches (mainly coaching, NLP, Hypnosis and Tapping) and I've studied those techniques deeply, which allows me to play with them in sessions, weave them together and adapt them to suit you and the moment. I love asking questions you probably havenβt considered, and helping you see a different perspective. Although most people think it's hard and serious work, and of course there are often big emotions at play, I like to bring in lightness and humour. There aren't many sessions I have with clients where we don't laugh at least a little.
Alongside this, I'm also employed half the week, and I am collaborating with Caroline Zalkind to create workshops, retreats and more to come under the brand Eden Valley Tapping. (The name might change in the near future, watch this space) We're having a great time working together and can't wait to bring more things to you!
And finally I'm very nearly finished my BSc with the Open University - it will have taken 6 years of part time study, but in a couple of months I'll be able to say I've got a degree in psychology and counselling. It's been quite the journey, I've loved studying (which I didn't so much in school!) And I'm very much looking forward to being finished!
Lots of love π
