I'm not sorry to interrupt
Your thoughts
As they lead you in a merry dance
Over and over again
The same steps
That your parents taught you
The same steps
That their parents taught them
This dance has lasted long enough
So no, I'm not sorry to interrupt.

I'm not sorry to interrupt
Your patterns
As they lead you down the same old road
To the same old place
That you've been frustrated with for years
Frustrated with the person
You are in this place
Ignoring the version
That's been begging for space
So no, I'm not sorry to interrupt.
I'm not sorry at all.

It's probably time to reintroduce myself. Not only have I been a little absent on social for a while, but also a lot has changed in that time!

Hopefully you know I'm Caz, even if you've not met me in person yet. For those of you who have known me for a while, but maybe not seen me, yes, I've lost weight (about 100lbs) - something I'll maybe talk about more in another post. That has allowed me to start walking the wainwright's, we're coming up to 80 so far and loving it. My other half does all the planning and prep and I supply the flask of tea and the complaining on the uphill bits. Whilst walking the wainwright's I get a lot of inspiration for writing, which I've been doing more and more of. If you're interested you can find that on my other page ( Caroline Pett Writing ).

I still love being in the therapy room with you guys. My therapy style is really grounded and flexible. The training I've done covers a few different approaches (mainly coaching, NLP, Hypnosis and Tapping) and I've studied those techniques deeply, which allows me to play with them in sessions, weave them together and adapt them to suit you and the moment. I love asking questions you probably haven’t considered, and helping you see a different perspective. Although most people think it's hard and serious work, and of course there are often big emotions at play, I like to bring in lightness and humour. There aren't many sessions I have with clients where we don't laugh at least a little.

Alongside this, I'm also employed half the week, and I am collaborating with Caroline Zalkind to create workshops, retreats and more to come under the brand Eden Valley Tapping. (The name might change in the near future, watch this space) We're having a great time working together and can't wait to bring more things to you!

And finally I'm very nearly finished my BSc with the Open University - it will have taken 6 years of part time study, but in a couple of months I'll be able to say I've got a degree in psychology and counselling. It's been quite the journey, I've loved studying (which I didn't so much in school!) And I'm very much looking forward to being finished!

Lots of love πŸ’•

It’s been a busy week for us at Eden Valley Tapping HQ! A huge thank you to all that joined us on our 5 day tap πŸ™πŸ₯°βœ¨ We hope you enjoyed it! Lots of planning going on, which we can’t wait to share very soon ❀️

I'm having a refresh - and a little name change.

Why go from Caroline to Caz?

At work I was always Caroline, it's my proper name, so it seemed right and professional, so when I started my own business that's what I wanted to use. But, to my friends I'm Caz.

Over time, my professional and authentic/personal self have become more and more aligned, so it feels like the right time to finally have my "brand" match me.

I've changed a lot over the last few years - which I'll tell you more about in another post - so it feels great to change what I'm putting out to the world here too. πŸ’•

Yesterday we went to see Dr David Hamilton's talk "how the mind heals the body" - it was brilliant!

Biggest take away for me - kindfulness. Focusing on kind actions/words from, to, or observed by yourself has a massive positive benefit to heart health!

Lots of friends in the crowd too - was fab to see you! πŸ’•

Love this. Don't wait for tomorrow, Monday, 1st of the month or a new year - you can start again any time!

(Although I'm posting this at 8.45pm, and as a certified "early to bedder" at this point starting again tomorrow is 100% the way.)

Well, 2026 is here and I'm back at work - in body if not entirely in spirit yet!

I'm still in hibernation mode, so there will be no big, "new year, new me" from me just yet - maybe in the spring - just now I'm just allowing myself to rest whenever I can.

Although rest looks a little different than it used to - it rest my mind and spirit walking the fells (currently wainwright bagging) - then my body (legs and arse muscles especially!) require physical rest too.

Anyway - all of this is just to say I hope you had a nice break, and I'm back in business, so get in touch if I can be of support. πŸ’•

New year resolutions 2026

Long slow mornings,
Days outside
Unplanned weeks
Fewer ties
Dates with friends
Cups of tea
Time in the garden
Good books to read
Move my body
Explore new places
Weave fine words
Put smiles on faces
Savour every bite I eat
Learn the power of "No."
Give in to magic
Go with the flow

That's my last clients of 2025 finished - and I'm taking a few weeks to hibernate. I'll be back week starting 5th Jan.

Thank you to everyone thats been part of 2025, clients, peer support, groups and supporters!

I'll be having a little refresh in 2026 - and maybe even bring some consistency to social media - but we'll see! 🀣

Wishing you all peace, love and a restful few weeks, whatever they bring for you. πŸ’•
