Eligible patients from the practice will be invited via letter to attend a routine breast screening check. This is estimated to be starting in June 2025. Patients will be invited to attend a mobile unit located at: Morrison’s Supermarket Car Park, Cardross
Road, Helensburgh, G84-7LB.

We are delighted to welcome Rhona Knight to the practice team. Rhona is our new Community Links Worker and will be a valuable asset to the practice. The practice has had new dispensing software installed to increase patient safety and reduce potential errors. While staff adjust to and train in the new system I would ask that you allow 72 hours (3 working days) for prescription requests. This increased timescale will remain in place for 1 month until Tuesday 3rd June. After this the 48 hour turnaround time will be reinstated.

Here at the surgery we have experienced a steady increase in demand for repeat prescriptions and also appointments with our clinicians. Our staff are working hard to ensure that all requests are met within agreed timescales but I would like to reiterate that all prescription requests will be ready for collection only after 48 hours which allows time to process and also to order any items that are not in stock. If you try to collect before the 48hr period your prescription will not be ready. Please allow enough time for reordering of your medications.

I would like to take this opportunity to remind all patients that threatening or aggressive behaviour towards any member of staff will never be tolerated.
