What crazy things did you or your body do during pregnancy?

What crazy things did you or your body do during pregnancy?

Did you turn into a hormonal crazy during your pregnancy?

I did

One day I would be high on life the next day I would be Uber emotional because the sunset looked particularly nice.

My poor husband didn't know what to do or how to help.

I didn't have nausea during my first two pregnancies but the thought of fresh fruit and healthy veg wanted to make me vom 🤢 so my first trimester I survived on bacon and hash browns (yup! Super healthy).

I glowed and radiated with my first but my second I was a sweaty knackered mess constantly peeling my clothes off my skin
...and the wee! Nobody tells you about the wee and farts do they. My third trimesters were spent with crossed legs and extra big tena lady my nights sleeping consisting of me farting...a lot!

Pregnancy really is beautiful (mostly) but nobody wants to talk about the bad or even the ugly parts of pregnancy.

So I want you to help break the silence.

I want other Mamas to know their not the only crazy one...
..they are not the only ones peeing every time they laugh...
..you are not alone, and most of these things are normal.

So tell me, what did your hormones make you do?

Ok, so I'm not talking about literally curling up into the fetal position and going asleep til spring, but I am talking about considering getting a few extra winks.

According to www.sleep.org:

"If you feel sleepier in the winter and more bright-eyed in the summer, you're not alone. Your circadian rhythm, which regulates your body clock, is maintained by exposure to light. And in the winter, especially in northern latitudes where the daylight hours are especially short, light can be scarce"

So expectant Mamas, your body is working pretty damn hard making that tiny little human...winter naturally makes us want to snooze a little more, so listen to your body. Take a nap, have a lie in, go to sleep earlier but try and catch a few extra zzzzzzzz

I will just leave this here!... Awesome!

Professional birth photographer, Kate Kennedy was so inspired by this birth, she decided to share the photos - and educate other mums-to-be on the possibility of having a vaginal breech birth.
