🌟 Keeping Active at St. Wilfrid’s Priory! 🌟

Our residents are enjoying gentle chair exercises designed to improve mobility, strength, and well-being—all while staying safe and comfortable! 💪🪑

From ankle pumps and seated marches to arm raises, shoulder rolls, torso twists, and chest stretches, every movement helps build leg strength, flexibility, and circulation. ✅

We focus on good posture (sitting tall, feet flat, away from the backrest) and controlled movements to keep exercises safe and effective.

Remember: always listen to your body and consult your doctor before starting new exercises. 🩺💛

Happy New Year to all our followers! Our home was filled with festive cheer as residents and staff came together to celebrate the magic of Christmas. From enjoying a delicious Christmas dinner shared with friends, to laughter, music, and beautiful moments of togetherness, it truly felt like home ❤️

As we look ahead to the New Year, we’re excited to start creative activities, including clay moulding sessions where residents can express themselves and try something new. A wonderful way to welcome 2026 with creativity and joy!

We were delighted to welcome the Learning Tree Nursery children, who visit us once a month to play games and sing with our residents. This time, they also coloured Christmas tree decorations and helped decorate our tree together.

It was a truly lovely morning, filled with laughter, creativity and special moments enjoyed by everyone 💙
