Our Art Club was a big hit this week!

Residents at Ascot Grange Care Home - Avery Collection enjoyed getting creative by starting on beautifully patterned designs, choosing their favourite colouring materials to bring them to life.

The atmosphere was wonderfully calm and zen-like, with gentle music playing in the background, creating a sense of relaxation, mindfulness, and wellbeing for everyone involved.

Once completed, these vibrant creations will be transformed into colourful windmills to brighten up our garden — we can’t wait to see them spinning in the breeze!

It's Hydration & Nutrition week and at Ascot Grange Care Home - Avery Collection, we've been chatting to our residents about the importance of keeping well hydrated.

Today, our hydration station included refreshing cucumber and mint infused water, as well as orange juice, and with the beautiful weather, it proved very popular!

ZooLab came to visit our residents at Ascot Grange Care Home - Avery Collection last week.

Our residents were very keen to get to grips with every critter that appeared!
From giant snails to beautiful snakes, our brave residents held them all!

We heard lots of information about every creature, but the scorpion seemed to steal the show.

And don’t worry — we made sure every creature was safely checked back into their boxes before ZooLab left!

Finally the weather warmed up enough for a few of our residents Ascot Grange Care Home - Avery Collection to get weeding!

We’ve been itching to get started on our garden, and Monday was finally the day! There’s nothing like a bit of fresh air, good company, and getting hands in the soil to kick off the gardening season.

Our project list is growing just as fast as our seedlings.

All we need now is for the weather to stay on our side!

Our wonderful Devenish Garden residents Ascot Grange Care Home - Avery Collection had loads of fun with Mark last week.

Moveball has been warmly welcomed by both our Assisted Living and Devenish residents. It's a fun packed hour of movement, hand-eye co-ordination, but mainly lots and lots of fun!

What a fantastic week exploring India Ascot Grange Care Home - Avery Collection

Residents enjoyed history talks, learned about Indian culture from our wonderful team, and got creative painting colourful Rangoli glass designs.

We celebrated Holi with bright paint splats, sampled delicious Indian treats like pani puri and sweets, and enjoyed beautiful music from Manu Sura the sitar player.

We even met a few creepy crawlies along the way!

A week full of culture, creativity and smiles.

Our travels to India continued today with a visit from Manu Sura.

The room was filled with the spellbinding sound of the sitar, and we were all completely transfixed.

To make the experience even more special, some of our residents at Ascot Grange Care Home - Avery Collection also enjoyed trying a few delicious Indian treats, giving everyone a little taste of India to go along with the music.

It was a wonderful afternoon of culture, music, and new experiences.
