Aged 92 years, passed away peacefully at her home on 26th July 2025.

Dearly loved wife of the late Michael, much loved mother of Tracey and Hayden, mother in law of John and Liz, and a loved grandmother of Will, Laurie, Georgina and Harriet.

Funeral at St Michael's Church, Sutton on the Hill on Saturday 30th August at 11am, followed by interment in the Churchyard.

Of Wirksworth and formerly of Idridgehay. Passed away peacefully on 21st June 2025, aged 96 years.

Beloved husband of the late Betty and a dearly loved dad, father in law, grandad and great grandad.

Sidney served in the Royal Navy in 1947 and worked at Rolls Royce as a draughtsman before retraining as a Maths teacher and working at Anthony Gell School.

Sid's request was to have no funeral, but you are welcome to join him and the family outside the Feather Star Inn (Red Lion) to raise your glasses to him on Thursday 10th July 2025 at 2pm and outside his home at Waltham House at about 2:15pm.

A wake will be held in his memory on Saturday 6th September from 3pm-6pm at Wirksworth Town Hall, all are welcome.
