The SPRING COVID VACCINATION PROGRAMME begins on 13 April and runs until the 30 June. We will shortly be sending all eligible patients text messages with a link to book their appointment. Messages will go out in batches over the next couple of weeks or so, due to vaccine delivery (over which we have little control), so please bear with us, if you don't hear straight away but everyone eligible will be invited.

We have two surgery sites — Ashbourne and Brailsford — and we’re seeing an increasing number of patients accidentally arriving at the wrong location for their appointment.

👉 Before you set off, please take a moment to carefully read your appointment text message, which clearly states which surgery your appointment is at.

✅ When you arrive, please also remember to check yourself in using the touch‑screen check‑in kiosks — this helps our team know you’re here and keeps everything running smoothly.

A quick check before you travel can help avoid delays for you and for other patients.

Meningitis vaccine – patient update
We are aware of news about a meningitis outbreak in Kent. This is localised to the Canterbury area, and there is no increased risk locally.
NHS vaccination guidance has not changed. If you or your child are up to date with routine vaccinations, no action is needed.
Please be aware of symptoms (fever, severe headache, stiff neck, rash that doesn’t fade) and seek urgent advice via NHS 111 or 999 in an emergency.
For reliable information, please use the NHS website.

Today is a regional Quest day and both our Ashbourne and Brailsford Surgeries are closed this afternoon for critical and mandatory training from 1330hrs.

Good morning. Due to power failure at The Surgery Dispensary, the Dispensary will remain closed this morning pending repair. We are sorry for any inconvenience.

The Surgery and Dispensary will be closed from 1.30pm today for our monthly staff training afternoon. We will open as usual at 8am tomorrow. Whilst we we are closed, in case of medical need use your local pharmacy, call 111, or in the case of a medical emergency, dial 999.
