Here are 3 so-called "healthy" foods to avoid if you are trying to improve your health and lose weight.
Special K, is touted as "healthy" and "High Fibre". It's low in protein, less fibre than a small apple and high in simple carbs so makes for an imbalanced sugary start to your day.
Oat Milk is seen as an alternative to cow's milk. Oat milk is very low in protein, so when used in meals and snacks this means you aren't getting your protein intake to feel fuller for longer or protect your muscle mass which is crucial for health and weight loss.
Rice Cakes are promoted as a healthy snack. They contain limited to NO nutrition! No protein, limited to no fibre and no healthy fats. They are just Empty Calories with no nutritional benefit at all.
