Forgiveness is one of the hardest things a heart will ever learn. wounds change you and
Sometimes words stay in your mind for years.
Betrayals can break something deep inside you.

And yet… choosing not to hate is a different kind of strength.

Forgiveness doesn’t mean the pain was acceptable. It doesn’t erase the tears, the sleepless nights, or the scars left behind.
It means you are no longer allowing that pain to control your soul.

Strong people are not always the loudest.
They are the ones who carry hurt quietly, heal slowly, and still choose softness in a world that made them suffer.

Forgiveness is important, not because they deserve it, but because YOU deserve peace.

There is power in letting go.
There is freedom in healing.
And there is incredible strength in a heart that refuses to become bitter after being broken.

If you get the chance to head outside and enjoy the sunshine over the bank holiday weekend, you’ll likely spot plenty of bees buzzing around. Bees play a crucial role in our ecosystem, helping to pollinate many of the crops and wildflowers we depend on across the UK.

With more than 270 species of bee in the UK, they play a key role in supporting biodiversity and keeping our countryside thriving. But habitat loss, pesticides and climate change are putting increasing pressure on bee populations, making it more important than ever to protect them.

Simple actions such as planting bee-friendly flowers, leaving areas of gardens to grow wild, and avoiding harmful chemicals can make a real difference in helping them thrive. 🐝

🌸Important Update 🌸

As we move into next year, we’ll be making some changes to the direction of our retreats.

This means we’ll no longer be running the same style of retreats we’ve offered in the past. Instead, our focus will be shifting more towards:

• Healing Path Retreats - with a focus on grief and loss
• Walking Day Retreats - more details coming soon

Right now, the retreat space feels quite saturated, and rather than trying to compete in that space, we want to create experiences that feel more intentional, specialised, and aligned with the areas we are personally trained and qualified in.

We’ve spent time reflecting on where we can truly make the biggest impact, and we believe healing from loss is an area where meaningful support is deeply needed, and something we genuinely feel called to help with.

The retreats we already have planned for the rest of this year will still be going ahead:

• August 22nd
• September 5th (Men’s Retreat)
• November 21st

After these, our work will become much more focused on the areas mentioned above.

💚Mental Health Awareness Week 💚

This year’s theme is Action, because awareness matters, but real change happens when we actually do something.

In the UK, around 1 in 5 adults experience a common mental health condition like anxiety or depression. Young people are struggling even more, with recent studies showing 64% of 16-25 year olds have experienced mental health difficulties.

Mental health affects all of us whether that’s directly, or indirectly.
This week, instead of scrolling past the conversation, consider taking action.

Here are a few small things that genuinely help:
💚 Check in on someone you haven’t spoken to in a while
💚 Get outside for a walk and some fresh air
💚 Put your phone down for an hour
💚 Speak honestly about how you’re feeling
💚 Rest without feeling guilty
💚 Reach out for support if things feel heavy
💚 Be kinder to yourself and others

The NHS highlights 5 evidence-based ways to support mental wellbeing:
• Connect with people
• Stay active
• Learn something new
• Give to others
• Be present in the moment

The steps towards healing don’t have to be dramatic. Sometimes it’s simply getting through the day, asking for help, or choosing not to suffer in silence.

🩶slow it down and ground yourself under grey skies🩶

Grey clouds always feel heavier when they first roll in.☁️

They block the light, shift the mood, and make everything feel uncertain for a while. But standing under a sky like this reminds me of something important: the clouds are always moving, even when it doesn't feel like it.

Hard days, anxious thoughts, grief, burnout, and doubt, they can arrive all at once and make it easy to believe the storm is permanent. But just like the sky, we're allowed to hold darkness and light at the same time.

You don't have to force yourself to "shine" through every difficult moment. Sometimes dealing with the grey clouds just means slowing down, grounding yourself, and believing that clarity will return.

The light is still there, even when you can't fully see it yet.✨🌱
