At the Autumn Equinox, day and night stand in perfect balance. Mabon is a time to give thanks for our harvests, share our blessings, and gently release what no longer serves as we turn toward the darker half of the year.

🕯️ Simple Ritual: Light a candle, hold an apple (or autumn fruit), and speak three gratitudes aloud. Cut the apple to reveal the star within — a reminder that even in the dark, the light remains.

🌑✨ New Moon Solar Eclipse in Virgo ✨🌑

Eclipse energy can stir deep waves in both the collective and the personal. As the Sun and Moon align in Virgo, many of us may feel heightened sensitivity in the body, restlessness in the mind, or even a sense of collective unease. If you notice this in yourself, know that you are not alone.

Virgo’s invitation is one of gentle care, to soften, to listen, and to tend to ourselves with compassion. When anxiety rises, let us pause to breathe, place a hand over the heart, and remember that we are safe, supported, and whole.

🐾✨ Can Reiki help dogs feel better?

A fascinating study, “Impact of Distant Reiki on Owner Assessment of Health and Wellbeing of Adult Dogs: A Blinded, Placebo-controlled, Randomized Trial”, explored whether distant Reiki could support canine wellbeing.

In the trial, dog owners didn’t know whether their pets were receiving Reiki or placebo sessions. Researchers then compared owner assessments of the dogs’ health and wellbeing.

📊 The findings? While results were mixed, the study showed promising signs that Reiki may have a positive influence on how owners perceive their dogs’ wellbeing — especially in areas of comfort and quality of life.

This kind of research adds to the growing body of evidence exploring Reiki’s role in both human and animal care. 🐶💜

Yay! ‘7 legs’ is back 😍❤️🙏✨ 🕷️

This is an auspicious sign 😊🙏✨🔥

I met him/her last year - only met a few times, but for obvious reasons they are easily distinguishable!! I kept a regular eye out but they’re quite particular with their timings. Already, even now they have vanished back into the crevices once more.

I shall keep a watchful eye out as I’d like to develop our relationship. Yet, I don’t hold out much hope based on last years sightings.

Mostly though, I’m just delighted they are still around. There’s something ‘homely’ about a consistent spider. Not just any old lodger…a true reiki enthusiast (or do I imagine now 🤣).
