The skilled team at Montfort Manor delivers nursing, residential and dementia care on a short-term and permanent basis. At this purpose-built care home, every thought has been given to residents' health and wellbeing. The home is divided into small suites to enable residents - particularly those who are living with dementia - to make friends and feel calm and secure in a homelike environment. Montfort Manor has its own inviting café – complete with freshly baked cakes – plus a luxurious cinema room, bar and a hair and beauty salon. Residents are supported to do as much or as little as they wish: they can lead an activity, help around the home or simply relax in the comfort of their bedroom.

We’re pleased to invite you to our Dementia Café on Wednesday, 4 February, from 10:30 to Midday.

This session is open to anyone living with dementia, as well as family members, friends and carers who support someone with the condition.

Our Dementia Café offers a calm, welcoming space where people can come together, share experiences and feel understood. Whether you’re looking for practical advice, emotional support or simply a friendly chat over a cup of tea, you’ll find a community ready to welcome you.

Living with dementia can bring many challenges, and supporting someone who is living with it can feel overwhelming at times. You don’t have to navigate it alone. Our team will be on hand, and you’ll also meet others who truly understand the journey.

Happy 90th Birthday, Ray!
Ray has already enjoyed a wonderful family celebration at the weekend surrounded by the people who mean the most to him, including his Best Man from his wedding back in 1960, a friend from his Scouting days, and his cousin.
He’s also been celebrated in style by his friends at Montfort, who hosted a lovely party for him. It was another chance to share stories, raise a glass, and honour a man who means so much to so many.
A special milestone for a very special gentleman.

Join Dawn Horne, author of Dawn’s Dementia Field Guide, for an uplifting and insightful talk about living well with dementia. After being diagnosed with both vascular dementia and Alzheimer’s, Dawn set out to find practical ways to make everyday life easier, more purposeful and fulfilling.

In this session, Dawn will share her story, simple routines and coping tips, and how humour and positivity help her make the most of each day.

After the talk, you’ll have the chance to stay for a relaxed chat with Dawn and our friendly team to share experiences and ask questions about living well with dementia.
