The government will be carrying out a national test of the UK Emergency Alerts system on Sunday 7 September at 3pm.

The government will be carrying out a national test of the UK Emergency Alerts system on Sunday 7 September at 3pm. During the test, mobile phones and tablets will:
• Emit a loud, siren-like sound for approximately 10 seconds, even if set to silent.
• Potentially vibrate or read out the alert.
• Display a message confirming that the alert is a test.

The Emergency Alerts system is designed to warn people if there is a risk to life, such as severe flooding, fires or extreme weather.

There’s also a kids disco, loads of party games, and our team will be in costume – including a fabulous Ring Master! Bring the whole family and join the festivities, it’s going to be a day to remember!

🎵 Join us for a free afternoon of music in the beautiful surroundings of either The Walled Garden, Thames Street, Sunbury-on-Thames, TW16 6AB or The Lammas Band Stand, Lammas Recreation Ground, Wraysbury Road, Staines-upon-Thames, TW18 4XZ
