At Charing crematorium this morning bright and early for a witnessed direct cremation.

We have recently started offering these services to our families, and are finding they provide a great balance. Families can have a private moment with a handful of mourners, without the pressure of a full service.

We recently had the pleasure of meeting funeral celebrant Celebrant Mounira.

Alongside her work as a funeral celebrant she is half of the Death Sisters!

'Mounira and Mareike, The Death Sisters, are dedicated to fostering open conversations about death and dying. Their goal is to help restore these needed discussions to our communities, reconnecting us with the wisdom and humanity of this shared experience.'

They hold events called 'Lets talk about Death and dying'. We are always keen to promote amazing events like this in the community! Thank you for sharing!

Christine has been busy making robin decorations for our families, to remember their loved ones. We know how hard the first Christmas without a loved one can be. We hope they find moments of peace and comfort in cherished memories.

With the wonderful Ashford & Tenterden Umbrella are at the volunteer centre today and tomorrow between 10:30 and 2, with food and quizes. Come and join us!

Our second delivery done to the wonderful The Bloomers Trust ❤️

The Bloomers Trust support survivors of sexual exploitation and domestic violence by providing essential baby/children items.

They told us they currently especially needed toiletries and boys clothes. Most of the clothes were second hand, the toiletries all new.
