Today is World Stroke Day — a vital reminder that every second counts when it comes to recognising a stroke.

👁️ Sudden loss of vision or blurred vision in one or both eyes can be a warning sign.Other symptoms include facial drooping, arm weakness and speech difficulties.

Knowing these signs and acting FAST can save lives and reduce long-term effects.

Sue began her optical career in 1998 as a Trainee Optical Consultant with Dollond & Aitchison, going on to manage a busy high street practice, before joining Brownbills in 2021. Sue now helps to run our Community Glaucoma Clinics, alongside dispensing and supporting patient care. With over 25 years of experience, Sue brings a calm and knowledgeable presence to the team – and when she’s not at work, she loves travelling and a good bit of retail therapy!
