A quiet day at the yard today but we’re harvesting crops. We harvested garlic, red onions, white onions, one spring onion, three radishes, carrots and some strawberries. Think we’re going to be more successful this year with growing vegetables and fruit.

We had a visit from Jenny Webb on Friday. It was due to her that we managed to get the yard and we really appreciate her continuing support. She gave us a donation that will be used for essential items. Jo Gamblin has continued to support us as well during her ongoing role as a local councillor. We appreciate her support.

Another busy day at the yard today. Katy made a planter for a customer. Mick made a picket fence for them to and Clive started painting it. Michael and Clive painted the planter Michael made ( helped by Mick) which he’s going to take home. We harvested some radishes. The sunflower seeds we sowed are popping up. Jo Gambling, Mandy Rossi and Steve Campkin from the Green Party paid us a visit today and Steve tackled the brambles. They were impressed with our site and future plans. Stuart and Colin also popped by for a quick visit.
