Good evening
We are looking for a Children's Registered Manager for a brand new start home located in Kent.
It’s a 2 Bed EBD Home.
Start date: Immediately
So if currently working in a residential children home for two years within last five years and also, must have at least one year experience in leadership role to meet Regulation 28, for example Deputy or acting Deputy of children’s home would be fine,Team leader of a residential children home or Senior Residential Support Worker in a children home would do.
Someone with knowledge of Children Home 2015 regulations and applications of the care standards especially the safeguarding and child protection guidelines and procedures to follow to keep children safe.

Regulation 28 requirements
(2) For the purposes of paragraph (1)(b)(i), a person has the appropriate experience and qualification if the person has—
(a) within the last 5 years, worked for at least 2 years in a position relevant to the residential care of children;
(b) worked for at least one year in a role requiring the supervision and management of staff working in a care role;
