Imbolc 2026 slips in at dusk on Sunday, February 1st, lingering through Monday, February 2nd, when winter loosens its grip and the land begins to murmur again.
This ancient Celtic fire festival marks the first true promise of spring—the quiet quickening beneath frozen ground, the return of lengthening light.
Balanced between the Winter Solstice and the Spring Equinox, Imbolc is a liminal hinge of the year, sacred to Brigid, keeper of hearth-fire, holy wells, and growing things. Folk charms are whispered at doorways, hearth ashes are saved for blessing, and seeds are held in warm palms as intentions are set.
It is a time of cleansing, tending, and simple spells—rooted in earth, guided by tradition, and shaped by what is ready to rise.

This week is flying by in a blur of orders, fresh stock brewing, and magical new candles and teas ✨🌿

Orders have been wrapped and packed, shelves gently sorted & restocked , plus a few beautiful new incense sets have been priced and packed ready to go to my booth 🌿🧙‍♀️

I also stole a rare dry afternoon for a slow wander along the canal with Odi — winter sunlight, muddy boots, deep breaths, and those small, grounding moments that feel like magic in their own way 🐾🍂✨
