Here is Carl, preparing to collect a family and travel with them and their loved one to the service.

On the day of a funeral, Carl’s role is to quietly support the family, guide them through each part of the day, and ensure everything runs smoothly and respectfully. From arriving at the family home, to managing the journey and timings, every detail is handled with care, dignity, and sensitivity.

A great deal of preparation goes into moments like this — from checking routes and timings, preparing the hearse, liaising with the crematorium or church, and ensuring the family feel reassured and supported throughout.

While much of this work happens quietly in the background, it is all focused on one thing: making sure families can concentrate on saying goodbye, knowing their loved one is being cared for with the utmost respect.
