It’s been such a busy few weeks in the salon😍 have absolutely loved pampering you all but now I’m all finished for Christmas and time to spend quality time with my little family! We re-open on the 8th January!

Exfoliating is key during your laser course! 🙌

Exfoliation helps to release the hairs we have killed off, leaving you feeling silky smooth. 🐬

Start exfoliating 5 days after treatment. 2-3 times a week between sessions, with either an exfoliating glove or scrub. This will create a clean canvas for your next session.

Avoid chemical exfoliants on treatment areas as this will weaken your skin barrier and cause sensitivity.

How to prepare for your laser hair removal session

AVOID PLUCKING/ WAXING laser works by targeting the pigment in the hair follicle not the hair shaft. If the hair is removed the laser has nothing to target.

AVOID TANNING - avoid tanning beds and minimise sun exposure for at least 2 weeks prior to laser. The more melanin in the skin, increases the risk of irritation and burns.

SHAVE - shave the area 2-24 hours before each session with a sharp razor, making sure you get the closest shave possible. Visible hairs can disperse the heat making the treatment less effective.

NO PRODUCTS- come to your session with fresh skin.

Winter is approaching and that means we are entering the perfect laser hair removal season.

So why is now the best time to start laser?

* Less sun exposure to the skin making the treatment safer and results more effective

* Laser takes time. We want silky smooth, hair free skin ready for our summer holidays. Summer bodies are made in the winter!!!

* You’re more likely to remain consistent with 6-8 weekly appointments during the winter. When we’re not making last minute summer plans, or we’re not having to space appointments further apart, to avoid lasering freshly tanned skin post summer holidays.
