After countless Ambulance Repatriations from Europe and a few patients cheekily asking, 'Can't we get back a little faster?'... we decided to take their advice quite literally! 🚑✈️ Say hello to our brand-new fixed-wing air ambulance! "MEDY" Don't ever say we don't listen to our patients. 😉

Lovely feedback received this morning. Thank you Sam. It was great to be able to see a patient in Spain before collecting them, to ensure the transport is safe and effective.

“We were greeted at Denia hospital like we were old friends - which instantly put us at ease.
Repatriating mum from Spain to the UK was stressful in the run up to departing but the whole BM team (including Craig and
Ben) couldn’t have been more helpful or kind. Mum was treated with such dignity and care, and me and my sister Charlie
were also well looked after on the very long trip home.
Mums admission to our local hospital had been arranged before we left Spain so we didn’t have to worry about that either.
We are so glad we found BM Ambulance Service - all of the team were wonderful and we would highly recommend to anyone who
is thinking of using their services. Thank you all SO MUCH for your care and kindness”

We have Trevor on the canvas, who could take to the stage at BM for us!?

A student paramedic is set to release her first single, which she wrote in the back of an ambulance while waiting outside a hospital.

Meg Fox from Cannock says playing instruments and writing songs helps her relax after work.

A truly lovely and wonderful personal message from Drs Xand and Chris van Tulleken and Dr Ronx from Operation Ouch to all BM Ambulance Service Paramedics to celebrate Paramedics day today. International Paramedics Day builds a better understanding of the breadth and depth of work carried out by paramedics around the world and a chance to appreciate and thank all of our wonderful Paramedics. Being a Paramedic isn't just First Responding, but also constant and consistent care on our long distance transfers, making feedback for improvement and the mentoring of our other grades of medics here. Thank you so much, check out and follow Operation Ouch Live On Stage Operation Ouch( Your Health & Wellbeing). https://www.internationalparamedicsday.com/

Today - Monday 8th July, if you see someone in uniform, paramedic or not, maybe offer them a nod and mention of today being a day to recognise them.

Celebrate paramedics and first responders around the globe and the vital role they play.

We have a power outage at BM base Ashford (Charring). Our cloud hosted phone system has reverted back to the mobile network as a backup. We are still able to take calls and function. We may take longer than normal to answer.

Thank you to these wonderful people over the last three months Vera Mobbs Kay Speed and Charlie Howes. Consistent, professional, attentive and supportive friends to many. Very well deserved.
