SUNBURN
You’ve over done it at the beach. What should have been a beautiful olive tan has turned in to lobster red, it even hurts to wear clothes.

Massaging over sunburn would be extremely painful. When you get sunburnt, your skin swells and feels tight. The pressure of massage is sure to increase your pain and may slow down the sunburns healing time.

If you do get a sunburn, please reschedule your massage to give your skin time to heal. Please remember that after the redness and swelling is gone, your skin may peal — this is also not a good time to get a massage.

We suggest using lots of Aloe Vera and avoiding the sun so you don’t damage your skin further.
