During my psychotherapy training we spent quite awhile considering the implications of grief, not just the death of loved ones, but the endings of a job, poor health or relationships. Endings can be really difficult. My son was due to 'leave home' within a few month's of my mother's death. There were many endings to comprehend/ Grief, loss are part of life. Sometimes having someone who is not judgemental to support can make the difference. https://www.artwellbeing.co.uk

Getting divorced? A good divorce may not necessarily make you happy (right away), or feel peaceful or amicable. But here are the stages you'll go through, don't worry: it's healthy.

Post Traumatic Stress plays out again and again in the people I work with. If you need support, why not look at my website www.artwellbeong.co.uk. Counselling can be a good, ‘safe’ and non judgemental place to start.

Presentation on Friday was around Mental Health Well-being, to a group sitting GCSE mocks, no one came up with the idea of reading to intercept anxious thoughts...

Worth reading the pos below t and listening to Jim Carey's take on depression, of 'deep rest', from the construct of the ego, the person we have created...

“People talk about depression all the time. The difference between depression and sadness is sadness is just from happenstance—whatever happened or didn’t happen for you, or grief, or whatever it is. Depression is your body saying f*ck you, I don’t want to be this character anymore, I don’t want to hold up this avatar that you’ve created in the world. It’s too much for me.

You should think of the word ‘depressed’ as ‘deep rest.’ Your body needs to be depressed. It needs deep rest from the character that you’ve been trying to play." Jim Carey

Jim Carrey talks about what it is like to be depressed and how finding freedom from depression is actually attainable. "It's your body's way of saying f*ck you."
