Ashford Slimming World consultant Julia Males was invited to an interview with KMFM news to discuss weight loss jabs and the role that Slimming World can play in supporting anybody who has choosen this path to lose weight.
Losing weight isn't always easy, be it via the jab or a healthy eating plan. We know how to support people on their weight loss journeys to make health habit changes for the long turn, to ensure the weight that is lost, stays off, so are doors are open to everyone.

‘They didn’t think I’d survive. I recorded a goodbye message to my family’.

Weighing more than 34st (215.9kg), Kenny was in a supermarket with his daughter when he suddenly collapsed – and was placed on a ‘do not resuscitate’ order by doctors. But he fought back 🏆.

With unstoppable determination and invaluable support from his Consultant and friends, Kenny lost an incredible 22st (139.7kg) and has now been crowned Slimming World’s Greatest Loser 2025 🙌.

From fearing for his life to finally living it to the fullest, Kenny is proof that it’s never too late to take those first steps 💫.

What an incredible bunch our SLIMMING WORLD members are 😍
Send off on a mission to sort out all of their pre loved items that are now too big for them, and help us raise vital funds for Cancer Research, and they did not disappoint 😍

They returned with 392 bags which could raise almost £10,000 🥳🥳🥳

The funeral of Margaret Miles-Bramwell, who founded Slimming World at a church hall in Alfreton in 1969, is due to take place on Monday.
