If you slow down and really look, they’re everywhere right now… a reminder that beauty in nature often whispers, it doesn’t shout.

🌿Noticing the unexpected in a private forest bathing session in King’s Wood, Challock today. The textures of bark, birdsong weaving through the trees, the earthy scent of the forest floor and this little surprise.

🌲 I'm wildly excited to have completed my training as a Forest Bathing+ Guide and am now certified by The Forest Bathing Institute.

🌲 After 13 months of devoted mindfulness and meditation practice, study of the theory, science and benefits of time spent in forests and ancient woodlands, an exam and a lot of practice leading groups through forest bathing experiences - I’m ready to get going running sessions near Ashford, in Kent!

Binoculars and bird book at the ready. The perfect way to spend an hour of mindfulness this Sunday. We have a very active border feeding area and 15 minutes in we have counted Collared Doves, Blue T**s, Sparrows, a Robin, a Dunnock and Magpies. Waiting for the Goldfinches and Blackcap to make an appearance. While you're watching for birds, notice the leaves, the colours, notice the leaves moving and take some nice nourishing deep breaths.
