Happy 7 year anniversary to Ashford Foot Care. What an amazing 7 years it’s been.

So far I have:

*Navigated a global pandemic whilst building my business.
*Referred patients over to fellow podiatrists for nail surgery.
*Referred patients over to NHS podiatry via their GP for bunion surgery.
*Identified potential cancers in patients via a simple nail trim. (picked up on suspicious markings within nails which were then referred onto GP for tests and diagnosis).
*Opened my own clinic.

*I’ve laughed with patients and also cried with patients.

*I’ve been honoured to be asked to treat patients in their final weeks.

I always check your skin on your feet when completing treatment for any of these signs. Even when ‘just cutting toenails’.

I know a lot of you just come in to have your toenails trimmed so I’m think of offering a new succinct service.
(This would be in addition to and not instead of the appointments I currently offer).

‘Just a toenail cut’.

This would be a maximum 15 min appointment. And would be subject to an initial appointment first to see if you’re suitable for the service going forward.

The price would reflect this.

I’m still toying with the idea at present, but wondered if this would be something worth pursuing?

The appointment would literally be:
-In the chair
-Shoes & socks off
-Toenails trimmed and filed (no cream at the end)
-Shoes & socks back on
-Next appointment made/payment taken.
-And away you go.

Let me know if you would be happy to use this service or if you like the extended service I provide.

Well that’s a wrap for 2025!

Thank you so much for all of your support throughout this last year.

I wouldn’t be where I am without you all.

I have now finally hung up my nippers for this year. And will be back to work on Monday 5th January.

Just to remind you, my phone will be switched off until then so I won’t be responding to any messages, voicemails, WhatsApp’s until that time.

I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas and new year.

Next week is my last week working before breaking up for Christmas.

As you all know I have two children (well one is almost an adult!) and I like to have the full Christmas holidays off with them whilst they’re still young.

So my last working day is Friday 19th December. I won’t be back to work until Monday 5th January.

I won’t be checking any messages or voicemails during this time.

You are still welcome to leave a message and I will get back to you once I’m back to work.

📣Announcement 📣

As you all know I now take payment of your first appointment up front. This has been working really well and thank you to all of you who have understood my reasoning behind this and supporting me.

However, I’m now getting people confirming their appointment and not paying the deposit in a timely manner or not paying at all, despite confirming they will, also not responding to my chaser messages and subsequently no showing for their appointment. (This is probably my fault for not being strict enough and taking on good faith that the appointment will be attended to). So from immediate effect I will require the deposit within 24 hours (if your appointment is over 24 hours away) or immediately at time of booking if your appointment is within 24 hours.

Failure to pay will result in me removing the appointment and opening it up to another patient.

I’m sorry I’m having to do this. But it’s getting a little tiresome chasing payments and still having no shows.

I really appreciate all of you who do help me out and help to keep my business running as smoothly as possible. Thank you 🤩

Well it’s nearly that time of year! When your local foot health practitioner is running round like a headless chicken trying to fit everyone in before relaxing for the 2 week break.

I’m nearly already booked up the week before Christmas (this week always books up far in advance!)
