Your mind holds more wisdom than you realise.

The problem is… when we’re anxious or stressed we overthink.

We push back, we spiral.

But when you slow down, breathe, and take time to listen to your inner voice … the answers often rise to the surface all on their own. 🌸

Relaxation isn’t laziness — it’s giving your mind the chance to show you what you already know deep down.

Save this as your reminder: sometimes the best thing you can do is pause, and trust that clarity will come.

There is hope even when your brain tells you there isn’t.”* – John Green

Your mind can be a powerful storyteller, but not every thought it tells you is true.

When anxiety, stress, or self-doubt whisper that things will never change, it can feel impossible to see a way forward. But here’s the truth—your thoughts are not facts.

Hope isn’t about having everything figured out; it’s about taking one small step, even when your mind tells you it won’t matter.

It’s about trusting that feelings shift, situations evolve, and you have more strength than you realise.

If today feels heavy, pause. Breathe.

Remind yourself that you’ve made it through every tough day so far—and you will again.

What’s one small act of kindness you can show yourself today?

Let me know in the comments.

Control can be subtle.

A friend who guilts you for seeing others.

A parent who makes you feel selfish for wanting independence.

A partner deciding what you wear or who you speak to, what you should do, and how you should feel.

This isn’t care — it’s control.

Healthy relationships, of any kind, respect your freedom.

💖 NOT today, people-pleasing. My needs matter too. 💖

Saying yes to everyone else shouldn’t mean saying no to yourself. 🚫

✨ Your needs are valid.
✨ Your boundaries deserve respect.
✨ You are not responsible for making everyone happy.

Prioritising yourself isn’t selfish—it’s valuing you own self-care.

💬 Drop a "NOT TODAY!" in the comments if you're choosing YOU!

Constant criticism can come from the people closest to us — parents, siblings, friends, or a partner.

When nothing you do ever feels good enough, when jokes come at your expense, or when small mistakes are picked apart — it’s not harmless.

Over time, their voice becomes louder than your own.

Love — in any relationship — should build you up, not tear you down.

“If this resonates, drop a ❤️ in the comments.”

“You’re too sensitive.”
“That never happened.”
“Don’t be so dramatic.”

Gaslighting isn’t just something partners do. It can come from parents, siblings, friends, even colleagues.

It’s emotional manipulation that makes you doubt your memory, your feelings, even your sanity.

Here’s the truth: if it hurts you, it matters. Your feelings are valid.

Save this as your reminder for the days you start to question yourself.

Coz you're not going mad!

Read this slowly: You are not alone. 🌿

As a therapist, I know how isolating it feels when you’re stuck in toxic cycles, trapped in people-pleasing, or walking on eggshells every day.

It can feel like no one else understands… but you don’t have to carry this by yourself.

So many women are silently fighting the same battles — and there is support, healing, and hope available.

You are not weak. You are not broken. And you are definitely not alone.

Save this as your reminder, and if you’re ready to take the first step towards healing, DM me READY.

Toxic behaviours can show up anywhere, it's not just in romantic relationships.

They can show up in family dynamics, friendships, even at work.

Sometimes it just creeps up on you … until you notice this relationship is not fun anymore .

This week I’m sharing a series on 6 toxic behaviours to look out for — so you can start spotting the patterns wherever they appear, and protect your inner peace.

👉 Save this series. Share it with someone who needs it.

And follow along as we go deeper into each sign.

As a therapist, I see this pattern often — women silencing their own needs to protect others. But every time you do this, you chip away at your self-worth.

Self-betrayal looks like saying “yes” when you desperately want to say “no.”

Every time you silence your needs, you teach yourself you don’t matter.

Not asking for help when you’re struggling.
Staying in toxic relationships out of fear or habit.
Keeping quiet to avoid confrontation.

Self-betrayal is staying quiet to keep the peace — while you fall apart inside.

The biggest break in self-trust? Ignoring your own needs and wants.

Healing starts the moment you stop betraying yourself.

You know what to do, but something stops you.
You have the information.
You have the skills.
So why do you keep avoiding the next step?

Often, it isn’t about not knowing how — it’s about the thoughts, fears, or beliefs that hold you back. This is where therapy helps you untangle what’s really keeping you stuck, so you can move forward with clarity and confidence.

Save this post for when you need a gentle push.
What’s one step you’ve been avoiding?

Information alone won’t change your life. Action will.
Share this with someone who needs a nudge forward.

Knowing isn’t the problem. Avoidance is.
Save this post for the days you need courage, not more information.

Protecting your peace is not selfish — it’s essential.

If someone constantly drains your energy or triggers your anxiety, it’s okay to step back.

Boundaries aren’t walls; they’re doors that keep your wellbeing safe.

Who or what do you need to lovingly detach from right now?

As a therapist, I remind my clients who are dealing with relationship challenges: detachment isn’t rejection, it’s protection. Protect your own peace of mind.

Save this as a reminder when you need to... step back.

Boundaries are an act of self-care. Detaching from those who trigger your mental health isn’t unkind — it’s necessary.

Share this with someone who needs to hear it today.

When you step back from what harms your mind, you create space for what heals it.
Double-tap if you agree.

Notice the people who leave you drained. Detachment is a therapeutic tool, not a failure.
Save this for the days you need reassurance.

Protecting your mental health sometimes means choosing distance. That’s a healthy choice.
Who do you need to lovingly detach from?
