My name is Liz Ford and I am the Glow coach for Blyth, Cramlington, Gosforth, Seaton Sluice and Whitley Bay. I have been a fitness instructor for 7 years and I can help you shed your unwanted weight, whether you have a few pounds or much more to lose. Each week I run 13 classes across my area and the exercise is suitable for all ages and abilities and all shapes and sizes I am now able to offer al

l my members a variety of classes including traditional Aerobics, Tabata, , Legs Bums and Tums, HIIT, Purestretch, Fitness Pilates and KettleBells. Come along and give Glow a go for free. Just get in touch to book your space.

Final walk of the weekend to Rydal and back. I'm not a great fan of stepping stones and I haven't managed to get across these ones as the conditions have never been right in my view. My question is did I make it across today? YES OR NO?

Another day, another walk. This time 12 miles to Hawkshead and back with a snack stop at our favourite cafe. We saw lots of lambs in the fields and a few cows with calves who were on the path. I was ready to run!! Another day where rain was forecast but didn't materialise.

Given that it's nearly May and the Macmillan Mighty Hike is 5th Sept, we thought we had better get started with our training. 11 miles done today. From home to Newbiggin by the Sea, Woodhorn Village, QE Park and then back home via Summerhouse Lane and Paddock Wood. I've lived here for 59 years and never been to Paddock Wood or seen the 'Trowel'. We also visited the tree that was planted on Thursday in memory of George Dobson who died in February. George was the main man in the litter picking group and is very much missed.

Easter Monday run done. Now time for lunch.
