✨ A Busy and Inspiring Start to the Year at Ashtead Hospital! ✨
I don’t post often, but with so much happening recently, I wanted to share a few highlights from the fantastic events we’ve been running at Ashtead Hospital.
We kicked off the New Year and Q3 with great momentum. Following the success of our Gynaecology Dinner last quarter, we were delighted to welcome our consultants to a Gastroenterology & General Surgery Dinner at The Grumpy Mole in Tadworth. Always a brilliant venue and an even better evening of conversation and collaboration.
We were also invited to speak at the Dorking Primary Care Network Half-Day PLT, where we had an amazing turnout from both clinical and non-clinical teams across all neighbouring GP practices. Our new consultant, Dr Ali Al Bahrani, delivered an insightful session on Familial Hyperlipidaemia, which was exceptionally well received.
After focusing on Cardiology, Urology and Ophthalmology last quarter, our next face-to-face GP Education Event will centre on Urology, proudly supported by Procept (manufacturers of Aquablation), taking place this month at Sandown Park Racecourse. We’re also looking forward to an exciting Ophthalmology evening with Professor Paul Ursell, and MSK May, dedicated to our physiotherapy community.
On top of that, the Surrey Chambers networking breakfasts and evening events continue to be brilliant opportunities to connect with local businesses. Our Lunch & Tour sessions at the hospital have also been incredibly popular — a great chance to showcase everything we do here at Ashtead Hospital.
Lots more to come, but grateful for such a strong and positive start to the year!
😊
