Today marks the beginning of a new school year for many children, as they start their first day or return to school. Have their picture taken in front of the front door, in front or a fireplace. As we reflect on the past 15 years of supporting families who have experienced the heartbreaking loss of a child. ❤️

We want to take a moment to remember those who are not starting school with us today. Their absence is deeply felt, and we remember them with love and compassion

Thank you to each and every single one of you that has kept me very busy hiding flowers around for you all to find.
It certainly has been a very busy summer I’ve given out 100 cones of sweets and 4 family day out trips to various places.
We really enjoy doing what we do and to see all the little faces come in to collect prizes makes it all worth while 🤗🤗🤗
There are still some out there so do keep looking on your way to school

It is with a heavy heart that we share the news that Peter (Pete) James, a much-loved member of our community, has sadly passed away.

Many of us here at Emmaus feel great sadness but are supporting each other and Pete’s family and friends as best we can. Pete’s funeral is taking place on Thursday 11 September and the wake will follow at Emmaus Mossley. As a result, our Secondhand Superstore will be closed that day.

All who knew Pete are welcome to attend to share memories and celebrate a life well lived. His burial will take place at Valley View Cemetery (behind the Church Inn) in Uppermill from 2pm and Pete’s ‘after party’ will commence from 3:30pm at Emmaus Mossley. 💚💚💚

Anthony has been out tonight hiding 60 laminated flowers, on main roads to make it easier to find.
If you discover the yellow flower 🌼🌼featuring a logo, you can bring it to the office for and receive a treat.

However, if you find the flower with a hand holding a blue logo that says "Congratulations," you’ll win a day trip to either Cockfields Farm 🚜🧑‍🌾, Cineworld,🎥🎥 Bowling 🎳🎳, or Lancaster Farm. 🚜🧑‍🌾.…Good Luck 🏆🏆

Such fantastic service from Anthony and Tami, they made everything so easy to deal with at such a sad time, and really did go out of their way to provide a personal and professional experience for us. The funeral itself went just as planned and was a lovely mix of sad and happy tears! Would highly recommend

We wanted to share that the Howard-Stevens family has made a donation. This will help us towards getting a limousine for Casey-Louise Family.

We are grateful to have received a generous donation of £300 from the Seraphina Centre & Food & Thorn Bistro who organised a raffle in memory of Casey-Louise Horrocks. This contribution will go towards, Casey-Louise horse and carriage, honouring her memory in a meaningful way.
