❤️❤️Layton Blake Baguley❤️❤️

Layton passed away on the 14th February 2026 aged 18 💔

We are honoured and privileged to have been entrusted with the care and funeral arrangements of Layton ❤️

Layton's funeral service will be held on Thursday 26th March at 12.30pm at Saint John the Evangelist, 155 Kings Rd, Ashton-under-Lyne OL6 8EZ. Followed by interment at 1.30pm at Hurst Cross Cemetery ⛪️

Everyone is welcome to raise a glass and share their memories of Layton after the service at The Royal Oak, Nook Ln, Ashton-under-Lyne OL6 9HN, Turner Lane, Ashton Under Lyne ❤️

Laytons family have asked if people can wear red as he was a massive United fan ⚽️

Donations will be kindly accepted on the day and will go towards a headstone 🙏

Today, on Mother’s Day, we take a moment to remember and honour all mothers and mother figures who hold a special place in our hearts 🤍

For many, today is a day of celebration. For others, it can be a time of reflection, remembrance, and quiet moments of love for those who are deeply missed 🙏

We are thinking of those who are remembering their mum today, and also of mothers who carry the heartbreak of losing a child. Our thoughts are with grandparents, step-parents, foster parents, and all the wonderful mother figures who give love, guidance, and care in so many different ways ❤️

From all of us at Bowley & Sons, we send our warmest thoughts to anyone finding today difficult, and to everyone remembering someone they love 🫶

Yesterday we received a lovely card and a gift from a family to thank us for looking after their loved one. It truly meant a lot to us.

Please know that we never expect thanks or gifts for what we do. We care for every family and every loved one as if they were our own, because that’s simply who we are.

Yesterday we laid to rest the late James 'Jim' Broadbent ❤️

To say Jim's family went above and beyond is an understatement, from his custom casket to horses and carriage and bagpipes, it was very clear how adored he was. Father Jack led a beautiful service followed by a graveside service at Dukinfield Crematorium and Cemetery A special day for a very special gentleman. ❤️

You are now at peace Jim but will be missed always by your loving family and friends ❤️

Yesterday we laid to rest the late Dennis Hargreaves ❤️

A touching and personal service was held at Droylsden Chapel by our lovely Jean Clements, where his life and memories were shared. He was then laid to rest with his late brother at Droyslden Cemetery followed by a dove release signifying a celebration of his life 🕊

Rest in eternal peace now Dennis, you will always be missed by everyone who knew and loved you ❤️

We would like to extend our sincere thanks to the family of a very special person we recently had the privilege of caring for and conducting the funeral service for 💛

Today, they kindly brought flowers and a beautiful card to us. It truly meant more than words can say. Even in the midst of their own grief, they took the time to think of us and to thank our family for taking care of theirs. That kindness and thoughtfulness speaks volumes about the family and their loved one ☺️

It was an honour to support you during such a difficult time, and we are deeply grateful for your appreciation 💛

Yesterday we laid to rest the late Geoffrey Roters 💛

He was taken to Dukinfield Crematorium in true Geoff style by a biker cortege 🏍

We hope you are now at peace Geoff, you will forever be missed by everyone who knew and loved you 💛

We want to thank Dawn and their children for entrusting us with Geoffs care and funeral arrangements, we will continue to support them whenever they may need us 💛

James passed away peacefully on the 16th January 2026 aged 95 💔

We are honoured to have been entrusted with the care and funeral arrangements of James🙏

⛪️James's funeral service will be held on Monday 2nd March at 1.30pm at Dukinfield Crematorium Chapel followed by interment at Dukinfield Cemetery, Hall Green Rd, Dukinfield SK16 4EP at 2pm⛪️

Yesterday we laid the late Julia Drinkwater 'Julie' to rest 💜💛

The sheer amount of people who attended really did show how loved and well thought of she was. We want to say a special thank you to all the staff at Tameside Hospital who came out to pay their respects to Julie, it meant a lot to Julie's family, loved ones and to us too 💜💛

May you now rest in peace, back with your beloved Ste 🙏
