Tony passed away peacefully with his family by his side on the 4th July 2025 aged 49.

We are honoured to have been entrusted with the care and funeral arrangements of Tony ❤️

On Wednesday 23rd July Tony will be leaving his mum's home address at approximately 2.05pm and going to Saint John the Evangelist, 155 Kings Rd, Ashton-under-Lyne OL6 8EZ for a full service at 2.15pm. the committal will then be held at Dukinfield Crematorium, Hall Green Rd, Dukinfield SK16 4EP at 3.30pm ❤

Everyone is welcome to raise a glass and share their memories of Tony at the Hare & Hounds, 236 Kings Rd, Ashton-under-Lyne OL6 8HD, after the service and committal.

Family have politely asked that everyone please wear smart attire only.
Family flowers only.
Donations will be taken on the day, these will go to a charity close to the families heart ❤

Our thoughts remain with Tony's mum Susan, Step-dad Joe, his children Porsha, Tony,, Lucas and Cole and all his family, friends and loved ones ❤️

We have recently had the honour of laying to rest the late Kieran Joseph Whitehead at Dukinfield Crematorium.

It was a heartfelt and dignified farewell, surrounded by those who loved him most. We were humbled to walk alongside Kieran’s family during this deeply personal time and to help ensure his final journey was handled with care and respect.

Our thoughts remain with all who knew and loved Kieran. We extend our sincere condolences to his family and friends as they continue to honour his memory.

A Special Place, Built with Love and Community in mind

I’m incredibly proud — and humbled — to share that we’ve opened a new funeral home in Stalybridge. This isn’t just a building to us; it’s a space created with warmth, care, and the deep understanding of what families need during some of the hardest moments life can bring.

One extra addition of this new home holds a very special place in our hearts: Théo’s Chapel — a baby chapel we’ve created in loving memory of baby Théo. It’s a peaceful, private space where families can say goodbye to their little ones with dignity, gentleness, and all the love they deserve.

As a family, we’ve walked this path with so many others. We know how hard it is — and we know how much it matters to have someone beside you who truly cares. That’s why we do what we do, and why we’ll always be here for our community.

Our new stalybridge home will still function as one of our family funeral homes, with the loving addition of Théo's chapel.

Thank you for trusting us. It means more than words can say.

A private service and burial will be held on Wednesday 2nd July 💙

Family have kindly given us permission to share Rachel's funeral arrangements 🤍
Rachel passed away on the 4th June aged 37.
Rachel's family will continue to be supported by everyone at Bowley & Sons and our thoughts and prayers are with them at this incredibly difficult time 🤍

We have had the honour of looking after 2 gentlemen whose families requested a personal, private service and unattended cremations. Although family didn't wish to attend the cremation they were still given the choice to come and see their loved ones in our chapel of rest where they were given the time to pay their last respects and say their final goodbyes, as always these families will continue to be supported by the team at Bowleys ❤️
No matter the type of funeral, we can assure you that your loved ones will always be treated with the utmost respect, dignity and care they deserve ❤️

Today we are sending love to everyone who is finding today difficult 💙 over the past year we have had the honour of looking after someone's Dad, Step Dad and Grandad, and we understand today is going to be an emotional day for you, but please remember that you're strong and your loved ones will always be looking over you. The team at Bowleys will always be here to support you in any way needed. 💙

It is with great sadness and much love that we announce the passing of Keiran, known as 'Kiwi' or 'Jaffer' to his family and friends.

We have been entrusted with the care and funeral arrangements of Keiran, the service will take place on Friday 13th June at 1.30pm at Dukinfield Crematorium, Hall Green Rd, Dukinfield SK16 4EP.

Jean Clements will be conducting the service ⛪

For anyone who wants to go the wake afterwards and raise a glass to Keiran, this will be held at Halfway House, 435 Manchester Rd, Droylsden, Manchester M43 6JE.

Our thoughts remain with Keiran's family and loved ones at this very difficult time and we will continue to support them for as long as they may need us.

A lot of men feel they can't speak out about how they're feeling because they have to be 'men'. But men's mental health is just as important as anyone else's. The expectation is that men should not show emotions, express vulnerability, or ask for help but this should absolutely not be the case! So to any men out there, if you need any support or someone to speak to, please reach out. There are a lot of resources out there that offer professional and confidential support. We work alongside some of these organisations, so if you or someone you know needs some guidance please don't hesitate to contact us where we will guide you in the right direction 💙

Here at Bowley's we offer an Unattended Funeral Service for £1,195.00, at the beautiful Birches Crematorium & Remembrance Park.

Whilst direct/unattended funerals do not include a service, at Bowley's we believe that every family should have the chance to say their last goodbye to their loved ones. That is why at Bowley and Sons, we offer the chance to say goodbye in the privacy of our chapel of rest, no matter which package you have chosen.
