We’ve been truly touched by the kind words we receive from families and members of the community. Many people tell us how much they appreciate that our funeral home is family run by Antoinette and Danielle. From the very first phone call to the day of the service and beyond, it’s always us by your side.
There are no unfamiliar faces or outside staff, just the same caring hands and hearts guiding you every step of the way. Families often say it brings them great comfort knowing they’re looked after personally, from beginning to end by the Bowley family. We understand that those personal touches, no matter how big or small, mean so much 💙

Here at Bowley & Sons we have had the honour of caring for precious angel babies and supporting their families through unimaginable loss. We remain committed to providing compassionate care, understanding, and continued support to those who grieve 🩷💙

Baby loss awareness week 9th-15th October, is to remember babies who have fell alseep during pregnancy, at birth, or shortly after, and to provide support, raise awareness, and campaign for better bereavement care 💙🩷

Today we had a visit from a beautiful, kind lady who's father we laid to rest last year. She brought us these stunning flowers which she arranges herself in her spare time 💐 how beautiful are they! Thank you Tee Mitchell, it was lovely seeing you and catching up 🥰

Families often ask if embalming is necessary. In a short answer, no it's not, it is optional. However it may be recommended by the funeral director depending on the circumstances. At Bowley & Sons we are always happy to answers any questions or queries you may have regarding your loved one.

It's the small things that make a big difference 💙

This morning prior to Suzanne's funeral we spent time making little keepsakes for Suzanne's family, we popped a little candle in for them to light, to represent her spirit and memory 🕯

On Friday we laid the late Mark Lowton to rest in a private service with his children by his side until the very end. Although they chose a small, intimate service, everyone who knew and loved Mark were given the option to come and see Mark in our chapel of rest, which Marks children made personal to him with some of his belongings and pictures.

Your children did you proud Mark. May you now be at peace 🙏

On Thursday we conducted the funeral of the late William Blinston or 'Billy' as most people knew him.

It was a lovely, personal service held by Jean Clements.

Billy was a simple man with a great sense of humour and this was brought into his final journey with Bowley's. May you now rest in peace 🙏 🤍
