Festive edition 🎀🎅🎄

As we head deeper into the run-up to Christmas, we thought we’d take a look back at some of our most festive projects over the years, including where it all began👀

1️⃣ (1988) Our very first awarded contract at Vertical Access Ltd: fixing a decorative Christmas ribbon around the Barclays Building in London. You don’t get a VA throwback much further than that.

2️⃣ (2002-2008) For years, we were fortunate enough to fit the old (and slightly terrifying) Father Christmas inflatable on Manchester Town Hall. It was always a great project that everyone loved working on.

3️⃣ (2023) Installing festive banners at Old Trafford for our old friends at Manchester United. (We've installed banners across Old Trafford's grounds for over 30 years!)

A lot has changed over the years, but one thing hasn’t. We’re still proud to be helping iconic buildings and venues get into the Christmas spirit😄

We hope all of our followers, clients, partners, suppliers & staff have a great, well-earned time off this Christmas.

🖤 💛

Don't let the storm bring you down... ⛈️

With Storm Claudia expected to last the next day or so, it is important to know your options if disaster strikes and unexpected damage arises.

Unfortunately, we can't always predict where damage can happen but it is important to repair the affected area quickly & safely, to prevent any further problems in the future. This can include:

➡️ Tree Fall
➡️ Leaks / Water Ingress
➡️ Roof Damage
➡️ Land Slips
➡️ Emergency Works
➡️ Signage Damage

If you need assistance with any damage caused by the storm over the next few days, don't hesitate to get in touch with one of our experts.

6 Reasons Why Autumn is the Perfect Time for Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM)🍂

Now that Autumn is well upon us, it is the perfect time for facilities managers, estates managers, and industry professionals to plan and book PPM Contractors.

Here's why...

1️⃣ Prevent Winter Damage = Address leaks, cracks and loose fixings before freezing temperatures make small issues more difficult to manage.

2️⃣ Clear and Check Drainage Systems = Autumn leaf fall leads to blocked gutters, downpipes & roof outlets. Clearing debris now prevents water ingress and costly internal damage.

3️⃣ Inspect Weather-Exposed Assets = Summer heat and UV can degrade coatings, joints & sealants. An Autumn inspection highlights weaknesses before wind & rain test them.

4️⃣ Optimise Access Before Conditions Worsen = Autumn offers the last reliable window for safe, efficient rope access works before worsened weather limits site availability and safety margins.

5️⃣ Safe Access Systems = Inspect fall arrest & access systems, ensuring readiness for future operations.

6️⃣ Plan Budgets, Not Emergencies = Scheduled PPM supports predictable maintenance spending and keeps your assets performing through winter, without unplanned costs or downtime.

Why listen to us?🤔
✅ Over 35+ years of maintenance services
✅ Trusted by industry leaders
✅ 100% safety-driven approach
