Good morning all,

I’ve been away collaborating on a retreat this weekend and it’s been an amazing weekend of connection ā™„ļø

We really do need to allow ourselves space to be held and for self care and I love that I can provide that at the studio ā™„ļø

There’s been a lot shifting in the energy over the last couple of days… and you might already be feeling it

Today brings us the Spring Equinox that moment of perfect balance between light and dark.
A reminder that we, too, are allowed to find balance… between doing and resting, giving and receiving, holding on and letting go.

Alongside that, we had yesterday’s New Moon a powerful invitation to begin again….and the energy will still be around us for the next couple of days …this is a quiet, fertile space to plant new intentions, dreams and desires… even if you’re not quite sure what they look like yet.

And today… Mercury moves out of retrograde.

If things have felt a little foggy, slow, emotional or unclear recently… you’re not imagining it.
But now, there’s a gentle sense of things starting to move forward again.
Clarity returning.
Communication softening.
Energy beginning to flow.

This combination is really special.

Balance (Equinox)
New beginnings (New Moon)
Forward movement (Mercury direct)

You don’t need to rush.
You don’t need to have it all figured out.

Just take a moment today to pause…
breathe…
and ask yourself:

What am I ready to welcome in?
What feels aligned for this next chapter?

Even the smallest intention planted now can grow into something beautiful.

If you feel called, light a candle tonight… sit quietly… and simply be with yourself.

This is a soft reset.
A turning point.
A return to you

What am I being gently guided to let go of?

Good morning all …hope youre having a good start to your day !

If you’re waking up feeling unrefreshed here are a few tips that you can implement this evening to help you to switch off and sleep better

Dim the lights.
Put your phone down 30 minutes earlier.
Take a few slow, deep breaths.

Then gently close your right nostril with your finger…
and breathe slowly in and out through your left nostril.

Keep the breath soft.
Unforced.
Easy.

This simple practice helps calm the nervous system and signals to your body that it’s safe to rest.

Let your shoulders drop.
Unclench your jaw.
Soften your belly.

Your body is always listening.

Your nervous system needs cues to wind down.

And sometimes… it’s the smallest, simplest shifts that create the deepest rest.

Let me know if you implement this and if it makes a difference ….i guarantee that making these small changes really does make a difference over time ā¤ļø

MID WEEK CHECK IN ā¤ļø

Notice how you’re feeling right now…

Are your shoulders tight?
Is your breath shallow?
Is your mind racing ahead?

No judgement.

Just awareness.

Because awareness is the first step to change.

And once you notice… you can soften.

Try this with me to help

Unclench your jaw.
Drop your shoulders.
Take a slow breath in through your nose…and a long, gentle sigh out through your mouth.

Do that 3 times.

That simple.

Sometimes we don’t realise how much tension we’re holding until we pause.

Save this for later when you need a reset

Pop it into your mental health toolbox and use it whenever you need to ā™„ļø

Why People Love Sound Baths ā™„ļø

People often ask me what happens during a sound bath.

The truth is… everyone experiences it a little differently.

Some people drift into a deep meditative state.
Some feel their body completely relax.
Some simply enjoy an hour of peace and stillness.

The sound of the bowls and gongs helps guide the nervous system into a calmer state, allowing the body and mind to soften.

And sometimes… the shifts can be felt in a more physical way too.

Yesterday I held a private sound bath for two lovely ladies.
One arrived with quite intense lower back period pain… and by the end of the session, it had completely gone.
The other had a really blocked nose, and during the sound bath one nostril cleared fully.

Nothing forced.
Nothing ā€œdoneā€ to them.
Just the body responding when it’s finally given the space to relax.

Many people tell me afterwards they feel lighter, clearer and deeply rested.

In a world that moves so fast, having time to simply lie down, listen and let go can be incredibly powerful.

And sometimes… the body finds its own way back to balance

You Don’t Need To Be Flexible…..

A little reminder for anyone who’s been thinking about trying yoga but keeps talking themselves out of it…

You don’t need to be flexible.

You don’t need to be fit.
You don’t need to have done yoga before.
And you definitely don’t need to be able to touch your toes.

The people who benefit most from yoga are often the ones who feel stiff, tired, stressed or out of balance.

My classes are slow, gentle and supportive.

No pressure.
No judgement.
Just space to move, breathe and reconnect with your body.

Yoga isn’t about how it looks.

It’s about how it makes you feel.

Beltane is the ancient Celtic festival of fire, fertility and life force energy.

It marks the point where spring bursts fully into life and we celebrate creativity, passion and new beginnings.

This gentle and nourishing day retreat will be a chance to pause, reconnect with yourself, and welcome the vibrant energy of the season.

Mother’s Day can be many things.

For some it’s a day of celebration.
For others it can bring memories, grief, longing or complicated feelings.

Today I’m holding space for all of it.

For those who are missing their mums.
For those navigating difficult relationships.
For those who longed to become mothers.
For those who have lost children.
For the women who mother others through kindness, care and quiet support.

Love and nurturing come in many forms.

Wherever you find yourself today, I hope you can offer yourself a little gentleness.

Take a breath.
Step outside.
Rest if you need to.

You are allowed to honour your feelings exactly as they are.

Can I say something gently…

A lot of people right now are absolutely exhausted.

Not just physically.

Mentally.
Emotionally.
Nervous-system exhausted.

They’re holding a lot together.

Work.
Family.
Responsibilities.
Expectations.

And somewhere along the way they’ve forgotten what it feels like to truly relax.

I see it all the time when people first walk into my studio.

Shoulders tight.
Breathing shallow.
Mind racing.

They sit down and say things like…

ā€œI don’t think I’ll be able to switch off.ā€
ā€œMy mind never stops.ā€
ā€œI’m terrible at relaxing.ā€

But here’s the thing…

Relaxation isn’t something you’re good or bad at.

It’s something your body remembers when it’s given the right space and support.

And when that happens, something beautiful shifts.

The breath softens.
The body lets go.
The mind finally quietens.

Sometimes all people really need is a place where they can step out of the noise of the world for a little while…

…and simply breathe.

Are you The Person Who thinks Yoga isn’t For You ?

A lot of people believe yoga is only for flexible people.

One of my students came to class convinced they wouldn’t be able to do it.

They had stiffness in their body, occasional back pain and hadn’t exercised for a long time. They were worried they wouldn’t keep up or would feel out of place.

But my classes aren’t about pushing or performing.

We focus on slow, mindful movement, working with the breath and adapting poses so every body can take part.

Week by week their body began to change.

They moved more easily.
Their posture improved.
Their back felt stronger.
They learned how to relax.

But the biggest change was their confidence.

They realised yoga isn’t about being good at it.

It’s about listening to your body and giving it what it needs.

And that’s when the real benefits start to happen.
