Dear Billinge patients.
We have seen the copy of the letter you have recently received from your Practice. This DOES NOT mean that you need to find another GP Practice. Nothing is going to happen to your Practice imminently. Billinge Medical Practice are working closely with the necessary organisations to find a solution to this problem. Please think carefully before trying to register elsewhere. If you are unhappy with the service that you are receiving, then you have the choice to register with another GP, as long as you live within their catchment area. If you are happy with the care that you are currently receiving at Billinge then please think very carefully before de registering. We work very closely with our colleagues at Billinge, and we acknowledge and admire their hard work to make the Practice improvements that are now in place.

One of our PPG members receiving a well deserved award from Willowbrook Hospice for her volunteer work there. Hazel has also been a huge part of setting up and now running our monthly Chatty Cafe as well which we are very grateful for. Well done Hazel!

We’re delighted to share that our wonderful volunteer, Hazel Ryan, is the third recipient of Willowbrook’s partnership with Room to Reward, recognising her outstanding voluntary work at Willowbrook Hospice 💚💙

Room to Reward is an inspiring charity that celebrates the often-unseen dedication of volunteers – the Hidden Heroes – who give their time and energy to support others. Through its network of hotel and holiday park partners, the charity offers well-deserved breaks using unsold rooms, as a heartfelt thank-you for their incredible contributions.

Hazel truly goes above and beyond. She’s a valued member of our hospice hospitality team, spending time chatting with patients and their families. She supports our Warehouse in Sutton, helping sort the fantastic donations for our shops, assists with the Chatty Café in Seneley Green, coordinating sessions when needed, and also lends a hand at our fundraising events.

Hazel really is a huge asset to Willowbrook, and we’re so pleased to see her dedication recognised. Thank you and congratulations Hazel, this recognition is truly well deserved – enjoy your well-earned break!
