A little ‘Tuesday taster’ of some of the exercises you can expect to see in this weeks classes. This week I have added the weighted balls into the class plans- each weighing 1kg. They can be added to many of the Pilates matwork exercises to add that extra bit of resistance which helps to build strength. I hope you enjoy 😊

Study time 📚

As an APPI certified instructor there is a strong emphasis on learning and building knowledge as an instructor. This means my classes are always based on evidence based Pilates exercises, techniques- meaning you get the best results.

This week I am studying the ‘Pilates and The Pelvic Floor’ course, finding it so interesting and relevant 🙌🏼- Thank you

⭐️New class incoming … I’ve had a few requests for a chair based Pilates class, so have decided to add one onto my timetable.

⭐️ Thursdays 1.15-2pm

Suitable for those who
- may not be confident/able to get on and off the floor for a mat class
- may have had recent orthopaedic surgery
- have cardiovascular problems preventing them from lying flat
- have balance difficulties

Please share with anyone you think might benefit from this- the usual amazing APPI Pilates exercises modified to sitting and standing using the chair for support.

Available to book as a 6 week block, or weekly.

☀️Beautiful spring sunshine through the windows…. What better time of the year to start your Pilates journey? ☀️

Spring is all about renewing, refreshing and new beginnings- so come along to a class and get your body moving - and feel so much better for it.

New blocks of classes start next week- focusing on resetting and refreshing- with emphasis on posture, balance and strength. Each class is carefully planned to work specifically on the key elements of Pilates.

Tuesday 9.30-10.30am -Gentle/Beginners at LJSD studios

Tuesday 5.45-6.45pm- Mixed Ability at Studio 24

Thursday 12-1pm- Mixed Ability at Studio 24
