It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Barbara Lowe, who passed away peacefully at George Eliot Hospital on 25th February 2026, aged 86 years.

Beloved wife of the late Tim, a devoted mother to Rob and the late David, a cherished grandmother to Tim and Matt, and a dear friend to many. Barbara will be remembered for her warmth, kindness, and the love she shared so freely with all who knew her.

A service to celebrate Barbara’s life will be held at All Saints’ Church, Ratcliffe Culey, on Tuesday 7th April 2026 at 12:30pm, followed by burial in the churchyard.

After the service, all are warmly invited to join the family for refreshments and to share memories at The Black Horse, 44 Main Rd, Sheepy Magna, Atherstone, CV9 3QR.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of John Richard Thumbwood, who left us peacefully at the George Eliot Hospital, Nuneaton on the 14th March 2026, aged 85 years.

John was the devoted husband of the late Milly, a loving father to Sarah, Paul, and Anne, and a cherished grandfather and great-grandfather. His kindness, warmth, and gentle humour touched all who knew him, and he will be dearly missed by family, friends, and all whose lives he brightened.

A service to celebrate John’s life will be held at the Heart of England Crematorium, Nuneaton, on Thursday 2nd April 2026 at 11:45am. Following the service, family and friends are warmly invited to a wake at The Conservative Club, Beech Garth, Atherstone, CV9 1AD, to share memories and celebrate his remarkable life.

It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Robert John James Barter, who passed away peacefully on 3rd March 2026 at the George Eliot Hospital, aged 87 years.

A devoted and loving husband to Jacqueline, a proud and caring father to Tracey and Scott, a treasured grandfather and great-grandfather, and a loyal and valued friend to many. Robert brought warmth, humour, and kindness into the lives of all who knew him. His presence will be deeply missed, but his love and the memories he created will remain with us always.

The funeral service will be held on Tuesday 14th April 2026 at 10:15 am at the Heart of England Crematorium, Nuneaton. Following the service, all who knew and loved Robert are warmly invited to join the family for a wake at The Miner’s Arms, Whittleford Road, Stockingford, CV10 9HU, to share memories and celebrate his life.

Passed away peacefully at University Hospital Coventry & Warwickshire on 5th March 2026, aged 69 years, surrounded by care and compassion.

Stephen was a devoted and much-loved husband to his late wife Dawn, with whom he shared a lifetime of love and memories. A proud and caring father to Christopher and Dan, he was also a warmly regarded father-in-law to Ellis and William. His greatest joy in later years was being a grandfather to Alfie and Jack, who brought him endless pride, laughter, and happiness.

Stephen will be remembered for his kindness, his quiet strength, and his unwavering love for his family. He touched the lives of many with his warmth, humour, and generosity, and he will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

The funeral service will take place on Friday 27th March 2026 at 9:30am at the Heart of England Crematorium, Nuneaton.

Passed away peacefully at home on 24th February 2026, aged 58 years, surrounded by the love of her family.

Debra was a deeply devoted and loving wife to Paul, a proud and caring mum to Chloe and Tom, who were her world, and a truly cherished grandmother to Sonny and Margot, whose laughter and smiles brought her endless joy and comfort.

A much-loved sister and a dear friend to so many, Debra had a kind and generous heart. She will be remembered for her warmth, her strength, her sense of humour, and the way she made everyone feel welcome and cared for. Her courage and resilience shone through even in the most difficult times, and her love for her family never wavered.

Debra leaves behind a lifetime of treasured memories and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her, but her love and spirit will live on in the hearts of those she leaves behind.

A service to celebrate Debra’s life will take place on Wednesday 1st April 2026 at 10:30am at St Deny’s Church, Ibstock, followed by the committal at Bretby Crematorium at 12:00pm.

After the service, all are warmly invited to join the family at Ibstock Cricket Club, Coronation Ground, 90 Melbourne Road, Ibstock, LE67 6NN, to come together, share memories, and celebrate Debra’s life.
