Our Runwood Ramblers out for a walk this morning. Olive was particularly happy to be out and about commenting on how good the fresh air was for us all .. โ˜บ๏ธ
Then a little later after dinner some of our residents showed off their culinary skills by making pork and apple sausage rolls ๐Ÿ˜‹

A lovely day today, some zumba exercise to get the morning of to a great start .. then after dinner whilst some residents were being creative at the sewing activity, a few others decided a bit of dominoes practice with a touch of healthy competition was the way to go. Rose did very well representing the ladies and won a few games showing that dominoes isn't just a mens game ๐Ÿ˜‰

Our "stitch in time" sewing activity went amazingly well. We recycled some material to make some colourful bunting ready...

Our "stitch in time" sewing activity went amazingly well. We recycled some material to make some colourful bunting ready for our Summer fete on 16th August!
Everyone joined in but a big thankyou goes to one of our residents daughters who kindly donated her time and also brought her sewing machine in and stitched all the flags onto cord ready for us to put up...๐Ÿšฉ๐Ÿšฉ

Yesterday was another beautiful day. โ˜€๏ธโ˜€๏ธSome of our residents thought it would be a nice gesture to prepare some fresh fruit for the staff to help them stay hydrated too!๐Ÿ๐ŸŽ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ“๐Ÿ‡... there was plenty to go around all departments, kitchen, domestic, staff on the floor and even the management.... with still enough left over to share some with other residents too!! ๐Ÿ˜‹โ˜บ๏ธ
After dinner it was some relaxation time in the garden, listening to some zen music after a busy morning exercising! Some of the ladies commented that it felt like they were at a health spa! ๐Ÿฅฐ
