Domiciliary care focuses on supporting people to live safely and independently in their own homes. While personal care and support are essential, the environment someone lives in also plays a huge role in their wellbeing. A clean, tidy and well-maintained home can make a significant difference to a person’s comfort, safety and overall quality of life.
By offering a cleaning service alongside our care support, we are able to provide a more complete service for the people we support. Many individuals who require care may find household tasks such as vacuuming, dusting or cleaning kitchens and bathrooms difficult to manage on their own.
Our cleaning service helps ensure their home remains a safe, hygienic and pleasant place to live.
Sometimes the hardest step in accepting care is simply letting someone new into your home.
One way we help make that transition easier is by first introducing one of our carers as a cleaner.
This allows a relationship to build naturally in a way that feels comfortable and familiar, without the pressure that can sometimes come with the idea of “care”.
