Micheala Humphreys School of Dance
Childrens dance based within Fit n Funky ladies gym, we have classes for ages 2 plus. Classes taught in ballet, tap, modern, street dance, limbering, strengthening, competition and show work. Taught by professional London trained dancers. Our competition team dances all over the UK and in 2014 placed 1st at Thats Showbiz group of the year in Yorkshire, got through to the 2015 UDO Worlds and also danced at the prestigous Blackpool Opera House and Liverpool Empire Theatre.

Norman Bradbury, the one Local politician who has been a constant help to Victoria Mill over the five years we have been here. God knows where he get the energy, we call him a few different names (storming Norman) he always gets the job done, Mr Atherton ( he is like Blackpool rock) cut him in half and it says Atherton all the way through! Only the independent councillors and conservative have bothered to visit the site despite the fact that we have taken a derelict Mill and created a community asset to be proud of with 14 businesses and over 90 full time jobs onsite.
Our one day of credit and publicity for the site with the visit from a high profile minister from Westminster Mr Eric Pickles, and Labour rabble rousers visit the site and disrupt the event preventing the press from photographing Mr Pickles and gaining much needed publicity for the businesses in the Mill! Go Labour you hurt a great local community asset today well done! Despite being asked politely to leave the site they remained trespassing councillor Karen Aldred was one of the protagonist. They said” if you want us to leave the site call the police” I think we would all agree the police have enough to do without being bothered by school yard bullyboy tactics from what seemed like yobs behaving badly! Myself I am not politically motivated or affiliated to one party, I like Norman Bradbury are for our community and the wellbeing of Atherton and surrounding areas no matter what their allegiances.
