Just wanted to say a big thank you to everyone who has supported me over the last few years. Clients, friends, and family.
So glad I've been able to help so many people in their recovery and pain management.

The last few months I've been helping clients with Strength and Balance. Working with Wigan Council as a Gym Instructor and teaching low Intensity classes. Getting the community fitter and healthier. 💪🏻

Acupuncture can effectively improve blood circulation to the feet through several mechanisms:

Vasodilation: Acupuncture stimulates the release of nitric oxide, a powerful vasodilator, which causes blood vessels to dilate and increase blood flow throughout the body, including the feet.

Nervous system stimulation: The treatment signals the nervous system to release biochemicals that positively influence blood, tissues, and brain cells. This leads to the release of therapeutic hormones like substance P, endorphins, and peptides, which can correct poor circulation.

Targeted treatment: Acupuncturists can focus on specific points associated with foot circulation, such as Spleen 6 (SP-6) located above the inner ankle, and Liver 3 (LR-3) between the big and second toes.

Inflammation reduction: Acupuncture has potent anti-inflammatory effects, which can help reduce systemic inflammation that may impair blood circulation by causing blood vessels to narrow.

Enhanced peripheral circulation: In Traditional Chinese Medicine, acupuncture is believed to stimulate energy pathways in the body, enhancing peripheral circulation to areas like the feet.

By improving blood flow to the feet, acupuncture can help alleviate symptoms such as coldness, numbness, and discomfort while promoting better overall foot health and function.

Keep moving, stay hydrated, and care for your fascia—it’s the foundation of your body’s health!

5 Fascinating Facts About Fascia

Fascia is Everywhere
Fascia is a continuous web of connective tissue that surrounds and supports every muscle, organ, and bone in your body. It provides structural integrity and reduces friction for smooth movement—think of it as your internal scaffolding.

It’s Alive!
Fascia is rich in sensory nerve endings and adapts to stress and movement by remodeling itself. It plays a key role in how you sense your body in space (proprioception).

Movement is Medicine
Regular movement keeps fascia healthy and elastic. Without it, fascia stiffens, reducing mobility. Exercises and myofascial massage can improve its function and even reduce chronic pain.

Hydration is Key
Fascia is 70% water, and staying hydrated helps maintain its flexibility. Dehydration can lead to stiffness and limited range of motion, so drink up!

It Holds Emotions
Stress and trauma can manifest physically in fascia, contributing to tension or discomfort. Gentle movement and release techniques can help alleviate these effects.
