Instruments in the Autoclave ready for tomorrowβs patients π£
Your safety is my highest priority. I follow strict infection control procedures to ensure every treatment is carried out in a clean, safe, and clinically controlled environment.
Instrument Sterilisation Process
Any reusable instruments undergo a comprehensive, multi-stage sterilisation process:
1. Pre-Cleaning
Instruments are rinsed and placed in an ultrasonic cleaner to remove debris and microscopic particles.
2. Inspection
Each instrument is carefully checked for cleanliness and integrity.
3. Steam Sterilisation (Autoclave)
I use a professional medical autoclave, similar to those used in hospitals and dental clinics.
Instruments are:
β’ Sealed in sterile pouches
β’ Sterilised using high-pressure steam at controlled temperatures
β’ Processed in validated sterilisation cycles
This method eliminates bacteria, viruses, fungi, and spores.
4. Safe Storage
Sterilised instruments remain sealed until opened at your appointment.
These procedures are routine and reflect my commitment to your safety.
